"During a certain holiday a vampire group strolled through the town and saw the destruction which had been caused. They usually visited the town annually and seeing the destruction made by the Xaj instructed that he step down. Now the Xaj challenged the vampire to a fight and after an intense battle between the Xaj's forces and the vampires, they lost. The leader of the vampires killed the Xaj by torture delivering us from the hands of our captors," a long pause wavered in the air while I let my story sink in. Breathing in deeply to avoid losing control of my emotions, I found it difficult to maintain my composure while the ship shook over the waters. The memories which haunted me still brought back pain and sadness with each day. I tried to make meanings of the wars which we had had over the years in our clan but it made no sense. It was all meaningless with so many lives wasted.
