They all stood around us, monstrosities of nature which were not supposed to exist. Their soulless black eyes gazing upon us. What were they waiting for I asked in my crouched state. I was ready for anything. I was ready to protect this woman and her children no matter what.
"How do we get out of here?" Nia whispered not knowing if she was going to transform or stay human. I could feel her heartbeat increase with each passing second. She was anxious.
