Getting to the deck, an applause rang out from the sailors and passengers there. I did not care about their cheers, it was not for Reya the Primordial, it was for Reya the half breed.
"I ain't never heard of no half breed before, but you just made your people proud," a toothless man smiled leaving the deck for me to stand by.
I could feel the rage burn inside of me while watching the sun set in the horizon. There was nothing I hated more than this. I hated the humans, I hated the mages, I hated everybody. I was losing my mind where I stood. I could feel my hand cracking open the wood on the deck and I couldn't stop myself.
"You were pretty impressive out there," D complimented beside me. "Even without being a god or demigod you did a feat no other vampire could replicate."
"Well, I'm having second thoughts on putting my life on the line for these humans."
The sound of breaking wood vibrated in the air causing her to put her hand on mine.
