Explaining all I had gone through was not helping me in any way, but it was all I had to do to get out of the fix I was in.
With every word I spurted, she jumped in joy and excitement at how crazy the future was. All my adventures, stories and visions seemed to interest her.
"Woah," was all she could say to them all. "These are all crazy."
"I know," I laughed. "They are all exciting as well."
"So where are we now?" she asked as I had made up my mind to keep the information under wraps. "Where is mum and dad? Is Founder amongst the King's guard? What about me?"
"You all are… with me," I chuckled nervously.
"Reya," she dropped to the ground, walking to my bed with the rain intensifying. "I can tell when you are lying to me."
"Why would you say such?"
"I am a Xaj, did you think that I would not have some powers of my own?"
"Good point," I heaved deeper into the bed, glaring at Aaron to help me out of this one.
