Ileus squinted his eyes as he stared down at the screen. He wanted to make sure that his eyes weren't deceiving him.
The screen showed the manly women surrounding Layla with their energy guns.
He spoiled the computer screen. It would not be on again, making it hard to know what was going on on the ship.
He looked around one more time before he left the pilot's room.

Layla dug her nails into her palms as she tried to suppress her rapid beating heart.
The women had outflanked with their guns on both sides.
She could see smirks on their faces.
When she jumped down from the crates, one of the women had sighted her and alerted the others.
The bars at the side of the gun were charged up, and it seemed like they would fire anytime now.
One of them walks forward with two pistols strapped to the sides of her metal waist belt.
She had heavy bags under her eyes as if she hadn't slept in years; a slim nose riddled with sharp nose rings; and hairless eyebrows.
She was the leader of this room.
"What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here," the leader said. Her features weren't pretty.
Layla didn't say a word. Instead, she figured out how she would make it out of here in one piece.
"I said, what are you doing here?" The leader asked again.
"To wipe out your ugly faces."
"The guts? Light her up. " The leader turned her back to Layla and walked back.
The guns in their hands charged up and shot blue energy beams.
The beams hit the wooden crates, and they caught on fire in an instant.
The gunshots went on until the entire spot where Layla stood lit up with flames and smoke filled the entire room, making the place a bit blurry for them to see.
The smoke evaded their lungs, and some of them started to cough and spit on the ground.
"Cough, cough. Put out the fire. " The leader smirked. "Boss kai, sure, would reward us well this time."
The women put out the fire with an extinguisher. They all had smiles on their faces, but the smiles disappeared in a flash.
A red-bloodied wall stood in front of them.
"What the?" They moved back slowly.
"Has this wall been here always?" One of them said aloud:
"Get out of the--"
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
The wall shattered into multiple blood knives, and it drove into the hearts of the unlucky souls closest to the wall.
All of them dropped dead.
Some of them had huge gaping holes in between their eyebrows; some had a huge part of their chest missing along with their hearts; and some of them had deep punctures in their stomach.
The remaining women puke out all their meals at the sight of their massacred teammates.
Blood leaked out of the dead bodies and flooded the ground.
The leader and the rest of the women stared at the pile of dead bodies in a daze. Their heads went blank for a moment.
They never expected it to turn out like this. Most of them make their living by fighting in underground fight clubs, but their greed made them take this job because it paid more than the fight clubs.
They were given these strange energy guns. They were told that they would be working as a branch for the Boulder family. They were told that it would just be a security job that didn't involve attacks, but today...
Half of them just got wiped out like that.
The blood slowly reached their feet, then multiple bloody hands came out of the blood and grabbed their legs.
They came out of their shock and stared down at the hands. They brought out their gun and fired energy beams at the hands, but anytime their beams hit the bloody hands, the hands would scatter and reform back again.
They lost the color in their eyes as the hands slowly crept to their laps, and the leader lost her cool.
"Please! Whatever you're doing, make it stop. I beg you," the leader screamed, and her eyes turned red. Tears welled from her eyes as the hands pulled her down.
"I have a kid! Please!"
The hands pulled her down, and she turned into a puddle of blood.
Then the blood started retracting backward until it came to a stop in front of the ninja with red eyes.
Ileus looked to his side. Layla still had her eyes closed. He had told her to do that when he raised the blood wall in front of them.
He knew she couldn't stand the sight of the screaming women, and he feared she might beg him to let them go, but he didn't want that.
"You can open your eyes now." He said as the blood moved towards his hands and entered his body.
"Omigod! I could have been dead just now. Thanks, by the way. "
Ileus didn't answer.
Layla looked around the room. All the crates had holes in them with blood stains. The wooden floor of the ship now had burnt marks with some oozing out of it, but the human limbs, heads, eyeballs, and legs caught Layla's attention.
She moved her face to the side, pulled her mask off, and puked all her meal out.
Meanwhile, Ileus looked at the scene he caused, with no trace of any emotion or resentment.
This was nothing new to him.
Layla used the sleeves of her ninja cloth to clean her mouth and looked at Ileus.
"Where are the girls?"
"it's better you don't know. It won't be good for your health. "
"I'm a strong girl you can tell me.
Ileus looked at her one more time and said, "I turned all of them into blood."
"What!"
"Told you it would be bad for your health." He added, "Do you mind picking up their eyeballs? My bats would love it. "
"What the hell is your ability?" Layla now felt uncomfortable with Ileus. The dude gave her the vibes of a psychopath.
"It's better you don't know."
"Yeah, let's leave it like that." She wanted to avoid anything that would give her nightmares, but she had concluded.
Ileus had some nuts missing.
Ileus started walking towards the door without waiting for Layla.
"Where are you going?" Layla asked as she trailed behind him.
"To go check up on Ethan."
