A month later,
Inside the elite hall...
Ethan sent out several daggers toward his opponent. He closed the gap between them and engaged his opponent, a student much taller than him.
The student named Zack had suffered countless punches to his face, but his opponent still went for his face.
Ethan held Zack by his hands and pulled him backward.
"Aghhhhhh!" Zack screamed. The veins on his face bulged as if they would rip out of his skin.
Ethan spun Zak in a circle before leaving him.
Zack tumbled forward and collided with the metal wall.
But he jumped back to his feet almost instantly.
He hauls himself to Ethan.
Ethan didn't stand there and watch. He opened his mouth wide, and a flame ball formed in his mouth. He shot the ball from his mouth.
Zack threw a punch, hoping to disperse it, but he just made a mistake.
The flame grew larger in mid-air. Zack looked dazed at the sight of the fireball.
The fireball etched closer. Zack closed his eyes, and it consumed him.
" Stop Please!!!!!!" Zack screamed. After a while, the flame dispersed and it revealed zack's black skin and his dick dangling in the air.
" I give up!" Zack hurried out of the hall and locked himself in the closest restroom.
The students who had watched the fights started leaving one by one.
"Is it a must to always burn your opponent to their birthday suit?" Ethan heard a familiar voice behind him.
He tilted his head to the side and saw Layla.
"Not my doing. It's the flame," Ethan said, casually.
"I still feel you do it on purpose," Layla persisted.
"Just some time."
"Like this one here today?"
"Zack had been bulshiting me all day," Ethan said. "He said that..."
"Said what?"
"That he likes me."
Layla's eyes turned blood red. "Now I know why you went hard on him." She reminded herself to pay a visit to Zack.
During this past month, Ethan had become familiar with Layla. Ethan can even consider her a friend now.
Some even started rumors that they were an item.
Ethan didn't like these rumors, but the other person liked them.
"See you later!" Ethan yelled as he walked out of the elite hall.
"Playing hard to get, huh?" Layla muttered to herself. "I'll make you love me. Just wait. "
------
Ethan walked down the familiar, long hallway inside the elite floor.
He had become familiar with this path, and though it was just a month, he still felt familiar with it.
Maybe because when he walked along this path, he would be able to rest his sore muscles and have a long shower.
Students in elite uniforms also walked this path, but the hallway had a large space between them, so they didn't bump into each other.
He reached his door, which was the third-to-last door.
He opened it and walked inside.
The large bed enticed and invited him, but he dragged his aching muscles to the bathroom.
After 2 hours of bathing, he finally walked out.
The academy had provided him with a more luxurious apartment. A flat transparent TV hung on the wall and made background noise.
The large king-size bed lay in the middle of the room.
Although his room back at the empire had a larger bed than this, it was still OK.
And of course, the walls were painted a grey color, but despite all this, the bed pulled Ethan.
Ethan fell onto the bed.
He hadn't been able to take a rest like this for the past few days because of his constant duels to increase his ranks in the duel ranking, so he decided to get some shut-eye.
The dragon race needed as much sleep as possible, unlike the vampires, who decide when to sleep or not.
The dragons had human qualities, but their only problem was their high level of pride and confidence.
All the dragons, whether poor or rich, had one thing in common: confidence, pride, and show off.
Ethan had many plans for today. He had had many plans since he became an elite student.
The elite students had several classes just like the normal students, but the academy allowed them to choose any class they wanted to attend.
But they only made one class compulsory; the war room. The place Ethan was currently heading to.
The war room had instructors who had level ten abilities.
They mostly taught elite students how to fight and battle. The students went through different battles each day.
Ethan had to admit that the war room made him improve significantly.
He reached a door with "war room" pasted on it.
Unlike a room one would expect, Ethan stepped into a desert, a desert with no sound, only unending brown barren lands.
He sighted some students in the distance.
He pulled his scarf to cover his nose. The dust from the ground hovered around the entire place, making it difficult for one to breathe.
It has been like this in all their other sessions.
He trekked under the hot blazing sun, and after a while, he reached the other students.
He could have just run fast, but he wanted to save his energy.
After all, this training was always different; he wouldn't know what awaited him.
All the elite students stood in front of a slim old man with bony muscles.
The middle of his head was bald, but the sides had white hairs that fell to his shoulders.
He wore a standard white uniform with the words "elite trainer" on his chest.
"Everyone here?" The trainer said
"Yes, sir," the student echoed back.
The trainer turned and started jogging off into the distance.
The students also jogged behind him.
They jogged for about 3 hours before they came to a stop in front of 6 giant robots.
The robots had smooth black metal exteriors. It has a round head with large red glowing eyes in the middle.
Its hands and legs were loosely connected, like those of a skeleton.
" you all would be grouped into a team to take these robots down," the trainer said.
The students all swallowed nervously as they stared at the robots.
The trainer did a head count.
After some time, he grouped all of them into groups.
And now, they're about to take down these robots, or
The opposite.
