A voice sounded from behind. A young man stood proud behind him two other boys who sized the small girl in front of them.
"Kenzo…I'm I not even allowed to visit?" He scoffed coming close and stood tall covering her, I mean she was tall but this boy was much taller than her.
"You never came in his last moment… now that he's dead you have the energy to come?" Kenzo's long hair played along with that wind showing off his handsome face and grey pupils, his stern and matured face. He looked like those bad boys from the movies that your parents warns you about because their bad news.
A tear dropped from her red eyes and she looked down in shame she had to admit that all he said was true.
"Who is she?" The boy on the left asked obviously attracted by her. Kenzo glared at him and the man zipped his lousy mouth and continued looking at Athena.
"Athena… you know I liked you so much and was heartbroken when you abandoned my brother on his last days. He placed his hand on the pocket and handed her a small bag and she took it gladly,
"He left you that…"She opened the bag and found inside laid a disk written her name on it, "And I've also written my number in there call me and explain. He brought forth his arms and she ran in crying in his arms.
"I'm sorry… I never meant all of that to happen," She mumbled in his arms.
"I don't blame you" He soothed her rubbing her hair. The boys were shocked to see his soft face. Since his brother's death he had become a hard rock to crack. But witnessing all this and that he had a heart they were glad.
After all that Athena boarded a taxi and left to her home. She didn't even make a sound and went directly slept with her shoes, not noticing the man sitting on her plush purple sofa.
Joan walked in her small loft throwing her shoe in different directions and just as she was about to have a sit a knock sounded on her door.
Her short legs carried her to the door to find a delivery guy,
"Please sign here," He handed her a pen and showed were she was supposed to sign and she obediently did so and the man left after a thank you and her smile from her.
Locking the door with her foot she looked at the big box placing it on the kitchen counter,
"Sorry beautiful ribbon but I have to open you now though you look good rapped," she mumbled opening the box. A shocked gasp came out her small mouth and she couldn't help but cover her mouth.
This… this was so unexpected. A folded paper fell off the lead, (Happy birthday, I know how this means a lot to you; I won't get to see your reaction but please forgive for invading your privacy again…From you knows who.
Immediately she called that one number, only three people knew that today was her real birthday. Why real? Beth got pregnant earlier and later lied about her pregnancy so not to be chased out. So to protect Joan she lied about her age till Justin found out the truth and that's when also found out about her real birthdate.
"Hello," The person on the other side was soo happy she called, the last call they had it was not a happy one.
"How did you get this," She was happy that her voice broke.
"Well that shouldn't be the problem… I think it's for how long have I kept it," he concluded going round playing with his chair.
Joan sat down shocked if he had her fist design that meant her was…
"That's right, it's me."
