Joan and Lewis met back when there were In junior school. It was school summer camp and they were both forced to join. Back then Lewis was a shy boy and hated to socialize, Joan was a loud girl…
FLASH BACK....
2000.
"Come out of your room…"Beth knocked the closed door. Small Joan sat on her bed frowning and pouting; she never wanted to attend the school camp because her school bully promised to embarrass her if she went.
"I won't go this summer mom." She yelled in her room not even glaring outside. Beth stood out the door defeated the bus was almost there and she was being stubborn.
"Stupid brat get out we don't have all time to entertain you," her dad Justin yelled from out ide banging the door and honestly she was so scared of him but she still did not bulge.
Quickly the house maid brought the spare keys and the man went in the room and shoved her out. Beth tried to talk to him,
"Justine come down, may be she's sick let her be… she can always go next time." But the man had glue on his ears because he never let her go till she was out the door.
"If our parents gave us all we asked for we wouldn't have what we have today," He took the bag from the nanny and threw it out locking the door with a bang startling the small Girl.
She sat on the steps hugging her legs covering her ears because of what was happening inside.
Inside the house,
"Justine she's only a child, did you have to be that harsh?" She held her waist trembling in anger,
"The stupid child you are talking about is not mine, so you should shut your tramp," He sat on the dining table and drank tea like nothing happened.
"You are so_"
"You are so lucky I still keep that thing in the house…you should be ashamed talking back to me, now scram and do what a woman should do best." He yelled pointing in the kitchen.
The bus finally arrived and she sadly entered in carrying her big briefcase that was probably bigger than her. The other kids looked at her and she ignored them because this was one of her usual day.
The dress was dishevelled by all the pulling that Justin did and also finger nail marks caused buy him using too much force to walk her out.
"I thought I warned you about coming to the camp."
In a blue large room a small boy locked himself in the bathroom still pretending to have a bath.
"Hey come out man we are going to get late," a familiar voice rang out the bathroom voice, But the stubborn continued to hug his legs still not moving.
