Chapter 31 - Not to be done

Pyrrha had done exactly what I expected. She had gone to help others than working on her own project. I had found her in the library helping 5 different teams, including her own. I showed up behind Pyrrha and stared down the other students. Some looked away, while others looked like they swallowed a frog.

Pyrrha hadn't noticed me yet, so with a cough I got her attention. She turned and jumped in shock. Before she had time to say anything, "I can understand a group exercise for some of the other class projects or tests. I can understand needing a little help with a semblance or two. As some of your semblances only effect others... However I can't recall any reason I gave during an individual project that would require this many people."

I didn't know how to scold kids, So I gave a look of malice towards some of the other student teams. Pyrrha looked embarrassed, "It's all my fault sir! Jaune asked for help. After that others needed help too and well..."

I shook my head. "Nora, your new equipment is being delivered to your dorm, go get it. Jaune! Ren! Both your semblances require the help of another go train." Nora jumped in in joy. While Jaune and Ren got up with a nod, "Yes, Sir!"

I looked over the other students. I looked at the three boys of Cardin's team. "You three, go find Cardin. If you want help, stick to your team." The fact they were here was astonishing to me. Perhaps Cardin left them behind due to his situation. I'll check in on him soon.

I turned to team BLUW and MRNN, "All of your semblances do not effect others. Unless you are training to use it on others, split it up!" I pointed to the only one of them that had yet to unlock a semblance. "Scrap whatever you wrote down for your project. Do it on your own, that is the point of the exercise."

Finally I turned to team RWBY. Ruby looked down, "Ruby, follow Pyrrha to the training grounds."

Ruby perked up, "Huh?" Pyrrha also turned to me. "Why us?"

I rolled my eyes, "because Ruby isn't gonna learn anything on paper and she is one of three who can help you train your semblance more. Now go! I have three more to address."

The two girls nodded and slowly walked away. Much slower than the ones I had already addressed. I turned back to the remaining bunch. "Weiss, I think it would be best for you to talk to your History teacher. Perhaps brushing up on some less talked about history will give you insight." That was the best avenue for her too. Just my small research had provided a good insight between Gaz and the Schnee family.

I looked at Blake and Yang. These two had a rather difficult project. Blake's project was to create a new use of her semblance. That was difficult due to how it worked, however she had someone to learn from. "I believe that your friend Sun Wukong's Semblance will give you a path to improvement. Do you understand what I am saying Blake?"

She blinked and slowly her eyes went wide. She jumped up, "That's actually a good idea! See you later Yang! Professor Mars!"

I raised an eyebrow, "Professor? Am I considered one of those now?"

Yang leaned on her arm and scoffed, "I know right?"

I frown at Yang, she seemed especially hostile towards me. I couldn't seem to pin down why. The only thing I could think of was either the events at Juniors or after looking through her file, Her mommy issues. Except the first one seemed so trivial and the second seemed like a stretch. I've been hated for less, but I've always known why.

Since Yang continued to stare at me, I decided to probe. "I've looked at your file. Do I remind you of your Mother or something? I do dress in a similar fashion, is that why you seem to hate me?"

She shifted and I heard her teeth clench. Before she got the chance to open her mouth I spoke again. "It is noted in your file that your father is worried for you. That is why he and your uncle disclosed all related information to the other faculty."

Her eyes widened and she paused. Her aura level was rising, a sign of her semblance. I rolled my eyes, "How is it a few words make you so angry that your semblance begins to activate. I doubt you even realize your aura is spiking."

She froze, "What? I'm not angry!"

I let out a laugh, "Enchant: Freeze."

Her position locked in place. Her body and her weight shifted under the sudden constriction. Her eyes went wide, I eased on the reigns of my semblance allowing her to speak. "What are you doing!"

I stared into Yang's eyes as she struggled. I leaned over and spoke directly into her ear. "Why does freeze not freeze you? Why is it not cold?"

I leaned back and sat in one of the chairs previously used by a student. "Yang you have the least control over your semblance out of anyone in the class. Dubbed Burn, when you receive damage or injury you gain proportional strength. Side effects are red eyes, and burning hair. Though it is not actually burning."

She clicked her tongue, "So what! I am perfectly capable of using it."

I shook my head, "So? So?" I got up walked over to her frozen form and cupped one of her breasts. Her Eyes grew instantly redder and her hair lit up into a fiery inferno. "DO NOT TOUCH ME."

I tilted my head, "How are you gonna stop me?" I felt her push against my semblance and control. However I forced her still with my aura. I leaned forward, "Why is your semblance dubbed burn? Is it just the hair? It was named that by Ruby's mother wasn't? You have the one of the most extensive files among all the students. I suggest you learn to quell your emotion why using your semblance."

I released her in more ways then one. She dropped to the floor and I dodged a uppercut she tried to throw. "I suggest you train without your semblance rather than with it. Velvet my class assistant would be the perfect opponent to do that. Maybe one day you will be able to resist my semblance."

I walked off from the blazing girl. She wasn't dumb enough to attack me again. I smirked, "That should have given her something to hate me for."

Hopefully Yang did train herself to resist my enchantments. The more she did, the more I could use her to improve my own control and power behind them. Even her weak struggle provided a little bit of improvement. I also liked the idea of taking advantage of her while frozen in place.

In the future I will push her to challenge me to a private match. One outside of view of others, perhaps at Juniors? I am sure he wouldn't mind. Speaking of, I still hadn't used those drugs he had given me for a reward for helping him last time. I actually never seen a few of the smaller bagged ones.

I stopped in the hall as I saw Pyrrha and Ruby sitting in front of the training ground. Glynda wouldn't be using it for sparring class today. However clearly Pyrrha and Ruby weren't doing anything yet. I sighed, I could use their in action at least.
