Chapter 40 - KYLAN's BACKSTORY PART-3 (THE DETERMINATION)

The next morning dawned, and the absence of Zymon weighed heavily on the hearts of Kylan, his parents, and his grandpa. "Have you checked with his friends? Maybe he's with them." Kylan's mother suggested. "I called them, but no one's seen him." said Kylan's father. "We mustn't panic just yet. He might have gone on one of his little adventures." said Kylan's grandpa.

Panic crept in as they realized that Zymon was nowhere to be found. Their collective search extended to every nook and cranny of their town, from the neighborhoods to the houses of Zymon's friends, from the school to the parks. "I've checked the park twice. No sign of him." said Kylan's Mother. "I talked to his teacher. He wasn't in school today." said Kylan's father.

Yet, despite their exhaustive efforts, Zymon remained elusive. As evening descended, exhaustion set in, and the family gathered in the dimly lit living room, each one pensive, haunted by the void left by Zymon's absence. "Zymon always liked a bit of adventure, didn't he?" Grandpa was missing Zymon. "Yes, he did. But this is different. He's never been gone for this long." said the mother.

They shared memories and anecdotes, cherishing the moments they had spent with him. "Remember when we used to go to the park every Sunday, Dad?" Kylan was remembering the memories with Kylan. "Ah, those were some good times, weren't they?" said Kylan's father in a blurry voice. Grandpa reminisced about their morning walks. "He would always find the most unusual things during our walks." said Grandpa.

Mother recollected Zymon's childhood. "He was such a bright child, always so full of curiosity." said the mother. And they all laughed through bittersweet tears.

Kylan's Mother: "I remember how he would tell the funniest jokes when he was a child."

Kylan's Father: "He's always had a unique sense of humor."

"He's grown up to be such a strong young man. It's hard to believe how much time has passed." Grandpa said. Kylan, overwhelmed by a deep sense of loss, sought solace in Zymon's room.

Kylan: "Maybe there's a clue in his room, something to tell us where he's gone."

There, amidst the familiar surroundings, he stumbled upon a collection of newspaper cuttings from years ago. The faded headlines and photographs bore the weight of a buried secret, one that his family had tried to keep hidden.

Kylan: "These old newspapers... What are they about?"

Rushing back to the living room, Kylan shared the discovered newspapers with his parents and grandpa.

"Look what I found in Zymon's room. These clippings are from years ago." Kylan showed those newspapers to his family.

As the older members of the family gazed upon the clippings, their faces darkened with worry. "What could Zymon have to do with these old newspapers?" mother exclaimed.

"This... This is the past we've tried to keep hidden. Not again. I can't bear to lose another one of my family." Grandpa, overwhelmed by the resurgence of an old, haunting truth, sank to his knees. The words hung heavy in the air, and Kylan's curiosity grew. "Please, tell me. What's in those newspapers?" Kylan Shook his Grandpa and asked

He implored his family to explain the significance of the newspapers, to unravel the past that had been shrouded in silence. "These clippings... They tell a story about our family that we've kept secret for years. It's a story about your uncle." Said Kylan's father

Kylan's eyes widened with anticipation. He longed to uncover the truth, to understand the mystery that had ensnared his family.

"Your uncle, the one who developed that strange potion... He's the one in those clippings." Kylan's Father and grandpa began to recount the grim history that had haunted their family.

"Your uncle was a scientist, a genius who deciphered the secrets hidden within our ancient books. He created a potion that could grant height and mystic powers. But it required a dark price. It had to be consumed with the spinal cord of a human." Kylan's father explained.

Kylan's mind raced as his family discussed the possibility that Zymon might be seeking out his uncle in pursuit of this potion. "We had thought he was captured by the savior society years ago. But now... How is he committing these heinous crimes?" said Grandpa. "Zymon... He must be looking for the potion, trying to gain height." said Kylan.

"That's what we're afraid of. We need to find him before it's too late." said the father.

"I need to find Zymon." Kylan, standing at the center of it all, felt a surge of responsibility and concern for his brother.

"I'll bring him back." His determination was clear in his eyes.

And without uttering a word, he retreated to his room. There, he began to piece together a plan, one that would lead him on a path to uncover the truth about his family's past, to find his missing brother, and to confront the shadows that had plagued their lives for far too long.

On the other hand the Savior Society of Five years ago was making a plan to catch the spinal cord staealer. Alcor(Cosmic Man), Aayam, Kaal, Pitch Blade and Ferric was sitting around a table. (Ferric is the founding leader of Metalloids, a savior group under Savior Society. He has a grey colored complexion a huge muscular body with an army haircut.)

"Dad I am telling you that there is no need to bother metalloids for this. They are the most important assets for Savior Society's space missions. We should not waste their potency here on earth" said Alcor to Aayam. "Alcor I know that you can handle him well, but here is a click, It's been almost 93 years since Savior Society started working. We lost most of the Saviors because of the miss happenings and because of the nature's rule. Not just for this mission we need Metalloids for other earthly mission to." said Aayam.

"May I ask something?" Ferric said. "Sure" Aayam said. "How powerful this cannibal is?" asked Ferric. "We do not have a trace yet. The more he consumes the more he gets powerful"
