Walking in the dark corridors of the school's girl's dorm while still carrying the big ass box and wearing my AirPods, I creased my naturally raven black eyebrows and tilted my head sidewards.

"...Welcome to Blackwood High, Avy Demascenia. Congrats! You're officially a Blackwoodian Citizen from now on. Please, prepare yourself for everything that might happen, alright darling?"

What the hell were those words of that old hag mean? Prepare me for everything that might happen? Was that a warning or just a regular reminder? Ugh. I don't know.

"That old lady was hella' weird. She's welcoming me with the usual grins of a psycho." I whispered to myself as I remembered the last thing Madame Evee said earlier. That old hag is terrifying. Those unfamiliar grins and smiles of her are just so fuckin' weird. As well as the students here. They're both odd as hell. Maybe this school is the den of weirdos. Tsk.

"Room 606... Room 606... Room 606..." I mumbled as I walk on the silent hallways of the dorm. As of this moment, I'm narrowing my eyes in the hopes of trying to find my room number. I'm currently on the 4th floor of this building. I already finished exploring the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, but, obviously, my room was not there. Good thing they have an elevator here because, seriously, if they don't have it, my arm will be shaking and hurting like hell as I climbed the stairs. What the freak was the contents of this box is? The weight is killing me, goodness.

"Gotcha." After a few minutes of finding, I finally reached the door of the room I was aiming for. At first, I bit the key with my lips and placed this big fast-ass box on my right leg. And because I was bored with life, I did even balanced the box on my thigh. When I become satisfied with the fun thing that I was doing, I slowly got the key that once is on my lips; I put it on the doorknob and一

"Oh, freakin' fuck!"

I guess my shout echoed throughout the building, but I don't care! Ah, shit. My butt hurts because it came face to face with the floor. My chest hurts too. Ouch.

"Avy Demascenia?" I raised my eyes and encountered a person who's staring intently at me with her freakin' purple eyes. Yeah. You've read it right—purple eyes. A woman is standing inside my dorm room and staring at me with her strange looks.

Must be eye contact. I said to myself. I stood up groggily and picked the heavy box again. Shit. I dropped this box forcefully; what will I do if something broke inside? Gosh.

"Hey, I'm asking you, bitch. Are you Avy Demascenia?" My gaze deepened to the violet-eyed woman in front of me. Wait. What the heck did she call me? Bitch? Hah!

I licked my lips and combed my hair in annoyance. "Yeah, that's me. Why?" I just answered while stopping myself from pulling her hair. I think I'll disregard the fuckin' way how she called me. Besides, I don't want to fight for now. I'm feeling lazy.

The purple-eyed girl opened the door widely then said, "Go inside. Faster."

As I stepped into the room, I repeatedly whispered to myself to just calm down and let her bitchy attitude to me earlier, passed.

She ordered me around? It's okay.

She called me a bitch? It's really alright.

I'll be patient this time. Besides, I think she's my dormmate because she's here in the room. I will try to be kind in the meantime. I'll just try.

"Left side. Third door." With my wrinkled forehead, I turned to her. "That'll be your room." She said with no emotions showing on her face. What a bitch.

I simply nodded as a response, "Oh, thanks."

Then I turned my back at her coldly. I don't care if she thinks I'm a bit rude in that way. Because it's really true. I'm rude and nasty. And I will be worse when I stay in front of her. I might really pull out her hair because of annoyance. That'll be dangerous for her.

"You shouldn't be here."

I halted from walking towards my room. I dropped the box on the side of my feet, then faced her wearing my deadly pair of raven black-colored eyes.

"What the fuck did you say?" With edge on my voice, I dangerously asked.

She smiled sinisterly, "Deaf 'eh? Didn't you hear what I said? Okay. Since you're new here, I'll repeat my words for you. So, listen carefully."

Even if she waked up the monster sleeping inside me with her bitchy words, I would shut my foul mouth. I'm really irritated and annoyed right now, but I stand still, went silent for a moment, and waited for her to continue.

"You shouldn't be here. This shouldn't be the school you choose to transfer to. You're stupid. You don't know what's this school's like, but you still enrolled. You will just go crazy here, I'm telling you."

My mouth was left open. I balled my fists and calmed myself. This bitch. How dare her? Earlier, she called me names, then now... she called me stupid? Holy heavens. God, help me calm down, would you?

Instead of fighting, I just raised my thumb and pinky finger in her direction. Just talk bitch. Go and share what you want to say. I don't fuckin' care. I'm tired and still sleepy. I have no time for this nonsense conversation with her. I picked up the box again and adjusted the strap of my backpack. What an ungrateful roommate. She should be happy because she will have someone who will stay together with her in this dorm.

"You're so weird, girl. So weird to the extent that you're also creeping me out." I said as I was about to go to my designated room. I'm not expecting her to answer still. But what she said next gave me a big fucking headache.

"I'm weird? I'm creepy? Alright. I give that to you. But, I'll bet my whole life that this school is much weirder and creepier than me. This school is hell. No. I mean, this is worst than hell. I swear, someday, you'll surely regret that you've stepped in your shoes in here. You'll regret that you choose Blackwood High above all the schools here in the world, my newest roommate, Avy Demascenia."

I stared at myself in front of the mirror. Blacktop with above the elbow-length sleeves, black fitted sleeveless blazer with a golden tree and golden words "Blackwood High" stitched as the patch on the left chest, black high-waisted plaid skirt, knee-length unlike the stereotype short skirt I used to have at my previous school, and finally black high socks.

That's my uniform. I put it on just right after when I finished arranging the whole room. My room is fully furnished, so no need for extra repairs. It's also fully equipped. Only those student's personal needs are lacking. And just like what I imagine it to be, It's a mixture of black and gold, just like my uniform.

I stared at my reflection once again. I tilted my head and moved from side to side. I raised my brow, and overall, I was contented. Not bad. Even if it looks like I just came straight right from a funeral occasion and am still grieving because of its all-black theme, it's okay.

I liked it that way. Strange, yeah, but for me, it's just simple. Gallant and fashionable but not overdecorated. I shrugged. Still decent for a high school uniform, though.

I turned around at went to the black box lying on the floor again. I scraped its contents, and I must say that the old hag 一err I mean, Madame Evee was right.

What I need is all here. From a black mini bag, aesthetic-looking big black notebooks, several ballpens that's surprisingly the inks are gold, a black pen with my name engraved on it, and my section that I found a little bit weird. Because Section -1 is the name indicated. What kind of section would choose that as their representative name? How come there's a negative sign? What the hell. So weird.

Anyway, highway, whatever it says, I clipped it on my uniform. Now, on the right side of my chest, parallel to the BWH patch in my left.

I found more other things inside. But, what caught my attention most is a small box that contains an accessory. It was some kind of a stainless steel wrist device. I wrinkled my nose and pursed my lips as I walked down on my memory lane. Did Madame Evee mention this thing earlier? Hmm...

Ah! Yes! If I'm not mistaken, she said N-meter.

I

looked closely at its details. I think It's almost the same as the smartwatch that I have once. The strap was thin, maybe an inch wide. While the digital device in the middle was rectangular, as narrow, and just as wide as the strap itself. Even though I haven't worn it yet, I feel like it will look good on my wrist.

I rotated it; on both sides of the small screen, a golden tree was engraved on it as if it was a particular branding of the school because I had seen it on the school gate. I tried to find a switch or maybe a crown to open it because it still looks like turned-off. But surprisingly, there's none.

The heck? Are these the things that only those typical rich kids would die to have? Cause really, I don't know how to use it. I'm a little bit ignorant. How to do this? Send help, damn.

Since there was nothing else to do, I put it on already. My face lit up when I saw it turned on. God. I'm a stupid shit, all I have to do was just to wear it around my wrists, and it will automatically on. What the hell? Why didn't I thought of it much earlier?

Hi! Student 056, Avy Demascenia.

Welcome to BWH!

" -663 "

My face automatically crumpled because of the welcoming words on the screen. What is this? Current N Demerits? -663? What the fuck is this for? Argh. Indeed, this school knows a lot. I'm starting to be annoyed.

Also, the fact that I'm enrolled here for free, but still I have these kinds of rich-looking things. Isn't it weird? Free, no tuition, but the school necessities are like this? Like, what the actual fuck? Although confused, I decided to slide all this thing away. Maybe I'll know how to use this N-Meter on my first day tomorrow. Perhaps if I ask others, they could teach me how to use it.

I put away and tidied up my things. I put the whole set of my uniform in the closet (which includes an all-black sports uniform or PE and five academic uniforms), and the books, notebooks, pens, and especially the weird N-meter went straight to my bag.

I stood up and marched to the bathroom to do my usual night routines. Yup. The night has come already. And this day has been so hectic and weird for me than any other day of my life, so even if it's only 6:30 as of now, I decided to sleep.

According to my own printed copy of the school's schedule, BWH's classes start at precisely 11 o'clock in the morning then end at 5:30. If I go to sleep right now, my body and brain will really recover from being tired. Maybe I'll just alarm at 10 o'clock so I won't be late.

Oh, even if I don't alarm anymore, it's okay. Besides, I prefer to be late. That's better.

Late entrance is a 'Grand entrance,' as they say. And that's what I'll do.
