"Come here, Riri! Don't run! Ugh! You really upset me! Why did you say that 'bitch word' when you're introducing yourself to Avy earlier?! I clearly said it has to be done politely!"
While wincing, I watched the beating scene take place between my two weird roommates. Shine continuously beats and hits Rise while the latter just ran. In short, they're chasing and running like dumb bitches. Plus, their noise from shouting at each other blasts to my poor ears. Damn. Why did I have to be with these two weird people for the rest of my school life, huh? I don't deserve this shit.
Anyways, time check? It's almost 4. It's four o'clock in the morning, and here I am, still wide ass awake. That's so far away from my plan, actually. My goal is just to drink milk and then go back to sleep. That's why my stomach woke me up earlier because that's how I was since I was a child; I can't sleep without drinking milk before going to bed.
But yeah, obviously, my fucking plan was twisted because of my two annoying dormmates.
"Hey, Avy. Can you tell a story about yourself? I mean, let's exchange facts. That way, we can get to know each other better." Right from the end of their battle, Shine took a chair and sat beside me. Rise also does the same. We are now seated and are surrounding the circular glass table here on the dorm terrace.
I lowered the glass I was holding before rudely answering her, "Why would I do that? Are we even close?"
"BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Damn, bitch! I didn't know you can hit that level of savageness!"
On the verge of amazement, I stared at Rise in a surprised manner. Wow. I didn't expect that she can laugh loudly like this. I thought she's the typical cold yet bitchy and gangster type girl. Because that's what she showed when I first entered the dorm, even until earlier when she introduced herself. I didn't expect this side of hers.
And yeah, she looks better when she's smiling.
"Avy, why you're so bad towards me?! I just want us to be friends!" Shine pouted like a spoiled bratty kid because of my answer. She even stomped her feet.
"Don't answer to me like that!"
I've heard Rise's minor coughs once, so I moved my gaze onto her. Before she let out a word from her bitchy mouth, she returned her cold aura again. The side of my lips rose. Pretending, huh?
"Let her be, Shine. I'm sure she won't share insights about her life. Sometimes, you have to choose what to ask. You also have to choose the person whom to ask. So that you wouldn't be face-slapped by their words." She said coldly. Meanwhile, Shine pouted as she lowers her head in dismay. Rise crossed her arms, then rolled her eyes heavenly as our eyes met.
I scratched my eyebrow—what a freakin 'weird and bipolar girl.
While heaving a deep sigh, "I'll talk," I straightforward said. They were both surprised, but Shine was the first to revive from her shock and smiled. While Rise, what else? She rolled her eyes at me again.
"What is it that you want to know? Fire it up." I added. They seemed hesitant at first but, after a while, they throw their questions one by one.
"Why are you here?"
I scoffed, "To study, of course. This is a school, right? What am I supposed to do here? Poop my feces out?"
I sarcastically answered Rise's question again, and because of that, The emotions on her face got worse. On the other hand, I saw a white lady (Shine) refrains herself from laughing aloud.
"That's it. I'm 'out of here. This is just meaningless talk. You're a bitch." She stomped her feet, pulled back the chair, and angrily kicked it back to fix it. I chuckled shortly in my thoughts. Such a short-tempered bitch. But, even before she could get away, I spoke.
"I'm here because my former school kicked me out. At Courtney University, I beat up one of my annoying and bitchy classmates. And, because her father was a member of the school committee, I was kicked out immediately. Only this school, Blackwood High, accepted me. That's why I am here in front of you guys right now. In your case, Rise, I'm on your back."
"Our school will definitely accept you." I take my eyes off with Rise and turn them to Shine. In just a split second, her cheerful, happy and bubbly face disappeared. Pure serious eyes replaced it.
Even though she was white-skinned and covered in all white, I could feel the aura suddenly changing and darkening around her. Shit. Here we go again. Is the two of them really bipolar? Ugh.
She continued to speak, "Why not? That's the only qualification to get into here. To have bad records. This school is a school especially made for rebels, gangsters, hard-headed teenagers, young people who can't help but be the cause of the headache and be the black sheep in their family. The students here are composed of that, Avy..."
"...We may be normal for others, but the truth is, we are not. And since you're here now, you're far beyond normal too."
Rise turned around and asked me. "What's your section?"
"Section -1?" I tried to lighten up the mood by answering her question with another question. Because I thought she'll be annoyed with that again. But I'm wrong. The tension in the air only got worse. I'm starting to be scared to the point that I'm getting these freakin' goosebumps all over my body. Damn. What's wrong with these two?
"Just like what I thought. Avy Demascenia of Section -1, Listen to me." Rise said more as she commanded.
"A not-so-friendly reminder, bitch... Now that you're officially a Blackwoodian Citizen, you must be careful if you want to survive and live in this hell-bound school within the next few days. The classes end at exactly 5:30 in the afternoon. In short, you have approximately 30 minutes to step out of the classroom and get your asses back here at the dorm. When the clock strikes six... lock all your doors and windows. Be sure that no matter what happens, you'll stay inside your room. You'll stay and will never ever go outside. Do that, and your life in here will just be normal."
