It has been five days since Emily is staying in the witch's cottage. Cecily has been nothing but good to her. They have bonded over these days and got to know each other a bit more better ofcourse leaving the part about how Selene herself has turned her into a werewolf. She realised that the sayings about witches being mean and evil wasn't 100% true. Good and evil resides in every living species of earth. Just like there are evil witches, there are also the ones who are good. And just like that they have grown to be the closest of friends supporting each other. Today was the day Emily was supposed to have her first werewolf lesson. Without any delay they sat down to have their lunch
It was afternoon, their stomachs were full as both of them were getting ready for her lessons. It was a big day for both of them. Cecily wasn't used to teaching lessons to werewolves. Sure, she taught lessons to the young wizards and witches but they were her own kind and easier to teach. But this time it was different. She not only had taken responsibility of teaching Emily but also of her first shift and she had never done it before. Sure, she had a few packs known and also had seen a few pups shift but she was never authorised to control any of them. All she knew was what she had read in books. Her eyes fell on the clock as its hour hand neared 3. She shouted out to Emily saying "It's about time you come down Emily" "Coming in 2" she shouted out as a reply. Cecily took her things and walked towards the main door.
Right now they were in the middle of a clearing in the northern side of the forest. "This is my land, where I teach witchcraft to the young witches. We witches don't use physical strength. So, much to your inconvenience there are no training equipments. But you can trust me with this. I have seen how the warriors and other wolves are trained. Different ranks of wolves have different kinds of trainings. But you are a rogue and have no such rank so I will try my best. Lets first start with basic lessons about werewolf packs What do you know about werewolves?" Emily recalled what the moon goddess had told her. "Bits about rogues, mates and alpha" "Okay we will start with the pack ranks.
High rankings
Alpha/ Alpha female- They are the leaders of the group, they take care of the pack. They are the most powerful pair in the pack and they take decisions for the pack(King and Queen)
Beta/ Beta female- They take responsibility of the pack when alpha is not present and take test of the Alpha in skirmishes which aren't serious and results in little to no damage. And they also carry the responsibility of second in command.(Second in command)
Gamma/Gamma female - They are the trainers of the pack and help train every young werewolf into an appropriate fighter who can defend and attack during the wars. They are also the third in command. (Third in command)
Delta- They are the messengers of the group and they send messages among the allies and even the axis. They risk their life just to make sure things that are need to be known are known. They also work in conjunction with epsilon.(Messengers)
Epsilon- They are the guardians of the pack. Their job is to ward off intruders and look after the safety and security of the pack. They were either a Zeta Eta or Lota in their past.(Guardians)
Zeta- The war general of the pack. They take direct orders from the Alpha. The Alpha may declare the war but Zeta plans the war and leads the army.(War general)
Eta- They are the warriors of the pack and are lead by the Zeta or Epsilon during the skirmishes and wars.(Warriors)
Theta- They are the lead medics of the pack and guides the Lota in medicines.(Lead medics)
Lota- They are the medics of the pack who are experienced in herbiology. They know which plants and herbs can be used to cure wolves.(Medics)
Kappa- They are the lead hunters of the pack who guide the hunters during any hunt and lead the pack hunts if Alpha or Beta tells them to. They make sure no one starves and everyone has a full stomach.(Lead hunters)
Lambda- They are the hunters of the pack. They are led by the Kappa and follow him to the hunts They are royals and are comparatively quicker in following orders.(Hunters)
Middle Rankings
Mu- They are the peace makers of the pack. As they are the mediators the Alpha take them to another pack over starting a treaty to avoid fights. They simply make sure there are no unnecessary fights breaking out.(Peace keepers)
Nu- They are the sentries of the pack. Their duty is to keep track of the natural resources and dens and areas of abundant food for the pack They also watch over the pack and call delta epsilon, upsilon, or lambda in need.(Sentries)
Xi- They keep an eye on their resources such as water supplies and den areas and also sometimes assist the hunters. If an uninvited guest infiltrates they are suppose to call upon the guardians/ Epsilons.(Resource watchers)
Omicron- They are the lead Pi and looks after the fact if the pack is taken care of all their mental problems and issues or not and no one is getting harmed.

Pi- They are the psychiatrists/ therapists of the pack. They help the members by letting them confide in, keeping their secrets and pains confidential. Even though they are not always right but they can be a good listener.(Therapists)
Rho- They are the assistants of the pi. They make sure that Pi has breaks between their appointments. Also the wolves will have to come to them to fix their appointments.(Assistants)
Sigma- They are the tutors of the pack. They teach the pups and subordinates and also the ones who need knowledge and make sure everyone is educated enough. (Tutors)
Tau- They are the lead spies/trackers who teach the upsilon different spying techniques and give them orders on whom to spy on. (Lead Scouts)
Upsilons- They are the scouts or spies of the pack. They go to other territories to know what's going on and report every minute detail to the Alpha.(Scouts)
Lower Rankings
Phi- They are the pup sitters of the pack and teach the youngs the basics of future. If any pup goes missing, they normally are held responsible for the deed.(pup sitters)
Chi- They are the entertainers of the pack who entertain everyone when the pack is going to something stressful and normally play with the pups.(Entertainers)
Psi- The new turned wolves or the new members of the pack. They are subordinates and need to prove themselves to get a better ranking. They don't have any specific work.(Subordinates)
Omega- Servants or scrap goats of a pack. They often eat after every one and are in charge of doing all household chores. (Servants)
Other Members
Pups- Any normal werewolf until their first shift that is 11 is known as a pup. Number of pups depends on the strength and flourishment of the pack. The Alphas have strong genes so they have a greater chance of having twins, triplets or quadruplets.(Children)
Elders- The oldest and wisest of the group. They happily narrates stories of bravery of their ancestors to their pups irrespective of the ranks. And also gives advices to the Alpha in need.(Elders)
Lone wolfs- the ones without mates and have been emotionally drained and have shut everyone off and doesn't hold any responsibility of the pack inspite of staying there. (Mate-less wolves)
This is all for today" said Cecily. "Sheesh, they are a lot more organized than the humans" Emily said with shocked."Told ya. Now let's go. It's almost dark" "Sure" Emily replied as they walked together towards their house.
