Third POV
He woke up to the sound of his alarm buzzing beside his ear. Picking up his phone, Cassiel looked at the time and jolted straight out of bed. He didn't remember even a bit of anything that happened yesterday after leaving Zadkiel and Melvin at the bus stop. He could sparsely remember that the weather had gone crazy.
'But how did I get back home?
I was going to take the shortcut Zad told me about, but since the tree fell right before me, I wonder what happened after that.
Did I get hurt and fall unconscious?
Nah, I don't seem to have any scratches on me though.'
To him, it almost felt like yesterday happened but also didn't, as if everything had been lost in his subconscious.
'It feels rather unsettling since it seems as if a piece of my memory is just lost, I really want to remember, but I just cannot...' he thought.
