Chereads / The Lost soul / Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

Marie wasn't expecting anything like to happen. She couldn't help the tears that flowed down her face as she tried her hardest to forget as she didn't realize her breathing became heavy as everything became blurry. She faintly heard Drew yelling her name as she couldn't help the pain as it all came back before crumbling to the floor in a heap; however another dreadful flashback took over yet again.

Marie couldn't bare the look on Aizora's face as she could tell that she knew she was lying to her. Aizora laid with her as Mare tried to sleep as the pain didn't go away. Aizora sung softly as she cradled her best friend. Marie wasn't sure why she kept it from her but she did. She hated everything about life as nothing good ever came out of it. She heard her friend singing as she eventually slept but not peacefully.

Dream:

Drew dragged her away from the school as he didn't seem happy with whatever he had went through. Drew just needed everything he set his eyes on. Marie didn't like the look on his face as he treated her like trash as before they had even walked out here Jack just happened to walk out almost in front of them which resulted into him glaring hard at her. Jack sneared at her as before anything could happen in between her and him Drew pushed her hard as her foot stumbled over her ankle as she knew she had either broken it or twisted it.

Drew jerked her hard as she stumbled with every step. " Where are you taking me?" She tried to not stutter with her words as she tried to clear her voice. " Andrew what the fuck is going on?" That got him in a bigger mood as he suddenly slammed her against the tree closest to them. She didn't like what was happening as she wished she had told Aizora everything before he dragged her out here.

" First shut the hell up!"

He stared coldly at her as everything around his atmosphere didn't seem right. " Andrew Wh-?" She didn't finish as she fell into the leaves as she grabbed her face before  he stalked towards her angrily. She moved backwards as she didn't try hard enough to get away. " Please. Don't"

She didn't know that he had a soft spot for her but at the same time she knew it was something as he wasn't ever rough with her until now. "Andrew. Please."

She tried to not cry out before he dragged her up from the ground before jerking her closer to him his hand went roughly around her neck as he pushed her hard against the tree. " Don't know why you beg. They don't stop. Why should I?"

Marie tried to move her body away as his hand tightened around her throat before she didn't realize he had gotten in between her legs. She almost couldn't breathe as he suddenly loosened his hold as he still was in between her legs as so was his hand around her neck. She didn't like were this was going but either way she knew if she tried he'd hurt her even more. She didn't move as her eyes closed. She didn't want to breathe any more she just wanted everything to stop. She couldn't bare anymore beatings or Andrew acting the way he was. She just couldn't take the pain anymore why couldn't it all stop. Did they all hate her. Why didn't she just kill herslef?

End of Flashback:

Drew didn't like seeing Marie like this. It pained him to even think about what his so called friends did to her and it made him want to kill anyone who ever touched her. He knew he was being irrational as he also thought about what he had done. They only ever hurt her and only her. He held her as again he wanted to so badly end her pain but he didn't know how. How was he to know that everything they've ever done was going to haunt her and attack her like this. He felt stupid as he thought about it. He never dreamed of even going anywhere with her, now it was as if he wanted to rewrite every little detail. He didn't have the words he could dance and sing but not talk the way she did. He was surprised he didn't cry as she moved into his arms before he heard her breathing against his neck. He held her tighter as he spoke.

" I've never been so broken about you. Hurting you was the last thing I ever wanted to do. You are everything to me. If I could rewrite everything I'd make sure that you were my first and last. I thought I couldn't love anyone like I love you. I know who you are. You're not broken you are strong. You don't need a guy like me but I can't help to say it. I'm sorry.

Marie heard every word as she didn't want to move a muscle while he spoke. She had never heard an apology like that. She thought no one ever cared for her. Did he really love her. Don't cry Marie don't cry. She had to tell herself that as she acted but couldn't keep it up as she didn't know what to do. Having that flashback and then hearing him say those words made her think of her mom as she did miss her. She needed advise because she was so stuck. She wanted to worry about a friend who she thought could give to craps as this boy or whatever said he loved her.

She wasn't sure what to do as she looked up at Drew as she then looked down at her body that was almost on top of his. The hell. She barley moved as he grabbed the hair that flew in front of her as he stared into her face with a loving look. " Drew." She had never said his name like that. Drew didn't have to move as he switched their positions as he looked down. " May I?" He asked as she wondered what the hell happened to the old Drew. She wasn't to worried as she pulled his face to hers in a passionate kiss. Drew didn't want to crush her with his weight as he deepened the kiss. He didn't understand how she could even have these flashbacks and then turn around and just kiss him. He didn't worry about it to much as they made out for a while.

He stayed with her for a while making sure she was ok before leaving her room. He was content with the relationship in between them as it to him seemed to spark. He wasn't sure where the relationship would go but he wanted to grow with her. He had finally went to the kitchen as he saw Aizora sitting there as she had his knife beside her as he went towards her and sat down. He didn't need to ask  as she handed him the book as she pointed and asked why that was the same engraving.

" Says the ancient knives are apart of the warriors that are contolled. "

He looked at the rest of the page as he grabbed his knife that had the same symbol in the book. " That means you are the one doing it?"

Aizora had a look on her face as she looked offended. " What? Anderson I don't think you understand I'm not trying to do anything. It's a voice in my head that won't leave me alone. "

He had a look plastered on his face before looking back at the book as he asked for the coin. He flipped it several times before flipping through the pages as he went back to the one that had the other coins. " Molte cose accadranno. Se non ascolti te o chi sta intorno perira'. Drew didn't want to translate it yet Aizora had demanded to know what it meant. " I don't think you want to know yet I know." He gulped hard as he swallowed hard

" Andrew I swear I already want to punch you so bad. "

"Yeah well I doubt-." He gulped again as he saw the look on her face as he went back to what the book said.

" Many things will happen. If you don't listen you or those around you perish. Means Die. " He took a pause as he reread yet again. " Fucking die. Why does everything got to be about death?"

He didn't want to read anymore as he already knew that Aizora wasn't herself and he didn't want to get in her way. She proved her point on several things and how she does any of it without breaking surprised him. He had feelings to but he only had feelings for Marie but the way he thought about everything that has been happening he didn't know how to feel.

Aizora had that same recurring nightmare as she kept seeing her best friend die. It wasn't so bad as she lived, But it the dream it was as if it skipped everything as in the dream everyone was dead and she had to do it alone. She didn't want to feel alone. Marie let him kiss her cheek as he asked how she was. He had made them all some eggs, toast and bacon. The Orange juice was already on the table yet it took a minute for Aizora as she didn't want to be apart of anything. Aiozra was already hating how the day was going to go as she didn't even know what was going to happen.

They hadn't went far as Aizora had been looking at the map for the hidden entrance to the tombs. It wasn't enough information yet she still couldn't get the words out of her mind. " Sacrificare I'offerta ad esso. Andra' bene la prima o la seconda uccisione! "

" Sacrifice offering to it. The first or second will do!" She Shuddered as every emotion went downhill as she didn't want to think or see where this was going. She looked towards where the compass was pointing as she kept looking at where the map that said another. " Hey Drew. What do this say?"

She pointed on the map as it was around a body of water as she looked up towards the river ahead. " Maledetto chi abusa di questo dirham."

He grabbed the edge of the map as he reread as he didn't seem sure. " Cursed is he who abuses this dirham. "

This part talks about the same thing its just not by it. " L'abuso in questo caso dovrebbe essere il danneggiamento, la contraffazione o attivita' simili che possono svalutare la moneta." He cleared his throat before repeating only in english thankfully. " Abuse in the case is expected to be damaged, counterfeiting or like activities which may devalue the coin. "

" I can damage it. I knew it." Aizora said happy that she finally was getting somewhere. Marie didn't understand what she was talking about as she noticed the coin glow yellow as from across the river the same warriors stood as they stared across at them. " Z, Drew. " Drew had already turned around towards her as he suddenly looked further past the river. " Why are they just standing there? There just staring at us, thats very creepy. "

Aizora stared across at them before looking at the coin that was yellow. " The hell." Everything seemed to click as she thought of how everything seem to happen becasue of her. It wasn't just because of the voice as it tried to control her it was her. " Hey what was that thing you where reading about the warriors this morning?"

Just curious Aizora looked over at Marie and then at Drew. " Warrior's alive turn against their own to help or destroy. "

He didn't feel like having a staring contest with whatever they were as they randomly stalked towards where the compass was pointing they didn't seem to not know it yet. Drew thought about his life growing wishing he didn't grow up the way he did.  Growing up with a friend that abused everyone with him was a fun and games until he realized it hurt him 10 times more than it did them. He tried to get past everything that happened in between him and Marie. He forgave and he was also hoping to get her trust and hopfully to forget.

Aizora screamed into what seemed to be her mind, wanting out she felt defeated as she felt her energy drain. Mrs. Burkes taught her to love and forget with the way she was feeling she didn't what to do. Marie already knew she had died but what she didn't know was what all had happened. Aizora didn't tell her or Drew what the voice was planning, and Marie and Drew were apart of it. She didn't feel relieved but she definatly didn't say anything as they all didn't realize they were following where the warriors were headed.

Aizora still couldn't hear anything as everything in the back of her mind still echoed. " It's a good thing maybe you'll hear them scream, or maybe their already dead."   Aizora turned her head slightly while the warriors ran. She wanted anything on them as she watched them like a hawk, hopefully they didn't notice. Aizora still screamed as the voice was starting to piss her off even more. She became angry which always resulted into cussing.

" Putain de merde face a' une salope de cul mort de moronacle. " She had enough as everything didn't seem right as the voice not once speak to her. She thought it was weird. She questioned everything as she didn't even know where she was leading them. They walked for another 45 minutes before walking out from the trees. They stared off into a stretch of graves. It was creepy and it was more weird as it seemed to be freshly dug. Aizora barley hesitated as she walked in between the freshly dug graves as something  must've caught her eye as Drew and Mare just watched not knowing what to do.

Drew still wasn't entirely sure how Aizora was. Everything didn't add up to him and Marie was her friend but it stopped them from bonding. He understood what was really keeping them apart, it wasn't just each other. What they both went through was hurting each other and him because he didn't want to upset Aizora as she didn't seem like herself. He watched as Marie faintly touched the mounds of dirt specifically around the actual graves as a path of dirt lead towards where Aizora was pushing her hand against. The earth trembled again as he didn't like the sudden feeling of the dead  feeling it as well.

The earth gave way as they seemed to be more under ground than before. When he looked back he saw stairs and instead of seeing the view of the trees; he saw the leaves and then the sky with several clouds as yet again he wondered what the hell. When he looked back towards where she was supposed to be he gapped. " Where'd she go?" Marie didn't say anything as she just pointed and stared. He looked at her as she was defiantely in shock. " What did she do?"

" It glowed, then she disappeared." She didn't stutter with her words as he looked into the room as he opened the door more. He didn't want to yell because it would kill him even more as his soul didn't seem to be in tacked. " Follow after me." When they walked into the ghostly looking room they didn't see the hallway as it seemed to blend in with everything. Marie latched onto Drew as he let her. He was terriffied too but he was trying so hard to not freak out as well.

Aizora watched everything and she wondered if she could do the same. It seemed to be really cool but then she wondered where Drew and her friend where. She growled as whatever the body was doing seemed to suddenly be in a diffrent location as she saw the battered boxes and then some weirder things. She fought and fought but it was no use. What the curse was doing was stronger. She hoped they were safe; then she heard echoed screams. Someone wasn't happy and it was the possessive person who had taken over her body. Wait was " she " the one who had screamed. It would make sense but then again she had to be wrong.

She was petrified and worried as well as shaking as she watched her do a few things as she had grabbed a box full of things and then stalked down a short hallway and down towards the left as she went into a room. "She" seemed to know where "She" was going as Aizora didn't want to watch. Everything was screaming at her to run but she couldn't. She had tried everything as she had latched onto herself as she cradled her body to her chest and tried to calm herself by rocking back and forth in her mind. The voice still didn't speak as she didn't understand what again was going on as what "she" was doing put the things from out of the box around the room and chanted while doing it.  This was defianitly going to haunt her, then again she was already having nightmares and she wasn't even asleep.

While " She" chanted she cradled her head into her legs. She didn't want to watch and she definatly didn't want to listen. She wasn't watching as she thought of everything else that calmed her as she heard a very loud popping noise. She didn't want to look up as she quickly shook her head. " Va te faire foute salope!"   She screamed as she heard something rumbling and she didn't like that noise or the way it felt.  She wished she was anywhere but here.  She felt like she had already cried everything out of her system but she felt like her dignity and soul had already left as well. She felt like she had lost everything even though she seemed to still breathe. She thought she was doing well with trying to brake whatever this curse was, but no, apparrently not.

She wished her best friend knew what was going on with her. She wish she had told them but no nothing seemed to be going well at all. Thats when she heard her name. She felt like raising her hand and yelling she was right there but again it was as if everything changed and she was somewhere else. She didn't understand how "She " was doing that and it frustrated her greatly.

" Go back! Go back! You Bitch."  Thats when the voice spoke and it was harsh and loud.

" Born and Raised bitch."

She wasn't expecting that response at all. She didn't know how to be feeling. She didn't see where she was it was to dark and even though she couldn't see her body walked towards the unknown as she questioned everything. She so badly wanted to turn around and yell, but all she could see was darkness. Aizora screamed again only this time she didn't have any energy whatssoever.

She probably sounded like a dying squirrel. She was going through all the emotions all at once and she didn't like it at all. Depression was no joke as well as the darkness around seemed to give her even more breathing issues as she got paranoid. What if something where to happen to her body and she couldn't do anything about it. Her mind was everywhere yet she felt like everything around her was closing in.

Marie found weird decoritive things that were on top of boxes around the room. Dust coated everything except the weird black candles. She didn't have to look to long as Drew called for her. She didn't take another look before leaving the room and following him down the hallway as it seemed to get colder.

" Are you cold too or is it just me?"  She rubbed her hands and arms together as she followed beside him as she could've sworn she saw a shadow of someone as darkness consummed them. " Marie. "  Drew said reaching out as Marie yelled for him as they both grabbed each others arms.

"I'm confused where did this come from?" Marie said as she barley even whispered. " I'd rather not answer or know where or why."  He didn't sound confident. Marie hoped this was just another nightmare playing out, only this time it was just darkness. They lost track of time trying to walk to wherever they were headed, and Aizora was still worried as she was scared of herself and what this curse was doing to her.

Drew wasn't feeling to great as he pulled himself together as he couldn't even see what was right in front of him or Marie who was beside him.

He didn't even know where they were going or could see his feet as they kept going. He could feel the atmosphere change before the darkness lifted as they looked towards the graves inside the dark ghostly spooky room. They heard chanting before they saw Aizora as she seemed very scary as she kept chanting. " That's obviously not Z." Marie said as she shuddered while looking at the box she was in front of as her hands were on it. " It's clear of what she's doing but I still don't get it. "  Drew wanted to go back outside; at least there was a breeze that didn't scream pollution before he badly wanted to puke.

He wanted to gag and he could tell with the look on Marie's face she wanted to as well.  He heard something being moved as he watched as Marie's face became stricken with fear. " I say we run." She said as he looked at Aizora as he didn't know what to call what was happening before Aizora chanted only this time he watched while everything screamed to do what Marie had said.

Aizora yelled at what had taken over her as the voice chanted only this time she understood completly. She watched everything as she thought of course there just had to be something like this. She didn't like it and she cried because even though she tried her hardest she couldn't do anything to stop her until she heard something as " She" was turn and sneared harshly as she knew she probably looked demonic. It clearly showed on their faces as Marie stood infront of him to the side as in front of Drew on the ground laid more scrolls. They looked green in the face as Aizora  wanted to scream for them to run.

Drew had took the hint as he stared into the face of Aizora as he grabbed marie and pulled her with him back towards where they had came from. They both couldn't breathe as they ran back through only getting lost as they tried to breath. " Aizora is evil. No I dont know." Marie frantically stalked back and forth trying to grasp what she saw and heard as she kept seeing Aizora's face. She didn't know what to do as she just slid down the wall onto the ground as she tried to hold in the tears. " My friend. She was like a sister. What. " The tears just fell she couldn't hold it back anymore.

Drew didn't know how to express himself let alone how to show compassion. He grabbed her arm before pulling himself into her as she just let him as she kept crying. Seeing her cry had taken a toll on him. He didn't want memories of this and he knew that Aizora wasn't who she was supposed to be, but she sadly didn't know who she was without the curse of the coin. He didn't like what she was doing let alone what had happened and why everything was happening like that. Marie sniffled as she finally stopped crying while Aizora finally took control of her body she questioned what she had done.

The voice was very upset but it didn't say anything. What "She" had tried to do failed yet she still felt the strong desire  as she ran towards where Marie and Drew had went as she yelled for Marie. Marie wasn't in the mood as Drew helped her from the ground yet Marie didn't look like she was intrested anymore. He couldn't blame her Aizora was getting on both their nerves.

Marie and Drew walked out of the scary deadly tomb. They didn't know where to go as Drew felt like someone or more than one person was watching them. Aizora ran out as she ran towards Marie. She didn't say anything as she looked unwell before hugging Marie tightly. Why we didn't know but she quickly  turned fast before tthrowing up.  Drew grabbed her hair from around her face before looking at Marie.

Later the night Aizora wondered why everything happened as she thought of how it could've been. She wrote in her journal, it did however make her feel slightly better. She sat against the tree as she heard Drew and Marie from inside the tent as they didn't sound happy.  Drew wanted her so bad and she could tell from day one Marie on the other hand didn't know what she wanted and she thought that was pathetic. She could tell that Marie was holding back from him and she didn't know why it was like that she was clearly into him. " Marie you know what I meant." She stomped outside as she looked back at him as Aizora couldn't see him but only her. " I don't think you understand. We kiss but other than that I don't want that relationship. "

The voice laughed and she didn't for once judge. Marie had just stomped over to the fire that Aizora lit when she had first set up camp. " Marie." Drew followed out of the tent distraught as he obviously didn't want to take a simply no as a answer.  She sat with her gaze on her coin as it glowed again. Drew walked towards her holding his hands as he didn't seem sure with himself.  " Someones watching us. Shall I?"   She didn't understand as right in front of her Andrew tripped over a root and slammed right into Ruth as they both disappeared. She became suddenly aware as she tried to move forward only to be stopped by a shadow of a man as he held a pistol in his left hand. The words excaped her as she was petrified yet again that day.

She didn't know what to expect as at that point nothing was surprising. She didn't see the other guys as she was grabbed by the arm and yanked up from the ground. When she looked over at the fire a shaggy man with machete kicked out the fire as she wondered where the hell her friends where.

Marie froze and she felt the cold ground against her back. She couldn't see in front of her and she didn't like that but she knew Drew was on top of her as she felt his warm body against hers. She wasn't freaking out as something moved from around them. They didn't know it yet but that was when Drew screamed as he moved from off of her. They couldn't see what it was but Drew already knew what it was as he kept shrieking like a girl. Marie didn't know what to do as she couldn't move or talk. She felt the little movements all over her as she mentally screamed blood murder. She knew she was twitching. The spiders didn't rest either they were everywhere and when she finally moved around she didn't just yelp.

Drew flipped around the ground as the spiders probably got mad or died Marie wasn't sure but Drew wasn't ok. If anything Drew probably thought of himself as dead. Everything crashed down on Drew like bricks. He felt all 8 legs and he knew he was screaming but he wasn't sure if the world heard him.

He felt the earth through his clothes as he crushed maybe a few of them but he wasn't entirely sure.

Marie slammed against the earth above her head as she felt the dirt in her face. She didn't care as much as the spiders still didn't care about space. She kept clawing at the dirt around her head as it took several minutes to get a hole.  She could breathe finally as Drew stopped wailing like a girl and pulled himself together only to freak even more only he tried to not show it. He finally helped her as they quickly got out into the warm sun. They laid on the grass for a minute as they breathed. Marie had closed her eyes as she felt the cool breeze blow against her face as she became tired instantly.  " Marie. "

She heard him the first time as he became worried and again she only wanted to rest. " Shhh." She barley had to use any of her energy as she wanted to stay like that. " Where the hell are we? " It wasn't what he had asked that got her up it was the way he said it. She still didn't want to move as she moved her head around as she slowly sat up and looked out at the mounds of dirt and grass. " The hell is this?" She was confused as to how long they were underground. She had also wondered what day it was as shouts were heard.  That whole day consisted of following and watching the General and what ever his gaurds were doing as she grabbed the map from her pocket.

" Forgot about this." She said looking it over as she watched them dig as the General looked around them. He must've thought they were being watched. Drew didn't like that as neither did Marie.  They quickly and quietly went around as they tried to not make any noise. She thought it worked since they hadn't stepped on anything that snapped in half then again if they did; she was sure they'd snap them in half.

The General walked gleefully into the chamber as he grabbed the stone from out of the casket. He didn't care about the atmosphere or the mess that was there. He only cared about the stone and getting the right scroll for the chanted foe.  He knew the when he put his men up to it they would succeed. What he didn't know in the next week he'd meet his match. He made his right man do that as he knew there was a booby trap somewhere as nothing was heard. It made them all more alert as they eventually left only to find somewhere else to dig.

Marie and Drew watched for more than what they should have before leaving that area.  The problem Marie was having was she didn't know where on the map she was and she didn't have a compass and if she didn't she would hope it would lead them to Aizora. The General didn't have to tell his right man anything he already knew what to do before heading into his tent to put his stone somewhere safe.  He however was  getting tired of not being able to catch the so called kids that were out there. His men searched and searched and he wasn't mistaken he knew they were hiding somewhere he just wasn't sure where. The whole thing was pissing him off as he was tormented into wanting to kill half of his men because it was killing him inside.
