Chapter 6 - A Hero If you Will
Atta broke his world in 3 realms.
The Mortal Realm was peaceful and monotonous place with no activity. Besides some world wars here and there it was mostly just bland simple day to day life and ecosystems
The Heaven Realm was his "Workplace". I mean, he described it as "God's Worthfull House" But he never really created anything there. He just or logged off the game and programmed on his console or he programmed right on the spot he nedded something to work. This Realm was currently sealed due to Atta not wanting to deal with the constant of mortal requests to ascent do Godhood.
And there was the Ragged Realm. The world atta was currently in wasn't the first, neighter would it be the last he would created in his life. In the description he gave it himself, the Ragged relms was a void, lacking any kind of light and warmth. All empty and meaninless thing were there, and came there . There things ranged from useless buildings, souls, powers, and lost treasures to ancient civilisations that went beyond common sense, all with forgotten folklore, habitats, and gods.
And bettwen Those 3 realms was what Atta called "Alter dimensions"
Strange, residual worlds with different rules, powers and creatures.
In legends say when the universe came to be, the Creator tore appart reality, and in it's newborn state almost collapsed existence in itself, but some of the shards of the original world had stabilized and gave birth to the three main realms, and in between these worlds were the Alter Dimensions, that served as suports that kept the world still.
But really, they were just random Realms Atta gave up developing and completely forgot existed.
Some of those Alter dimensions would be the Fairy World, The Abyss, The Spirit Realm, and the own entrance for the heaven Realm, the Heavenly Gate. The latter was the closest, and easiest to access alter dimension of them all. Portals popping everywhere as long as you searched thoroughly.
Atta had teleported to the Heavenly Gate, for now he didn't want to open up the Seal on the gate, his gods were dormant and he preffered it that way, he couldn't control all 10 of them at the same time anyway!.
He instead weakened a part of the membrane that separated both worlds and sat on the sky watching as things unwinded. Already on his normal form
Over the seas on the Demon contry Tarnar the demon army had gathered even more forces and planed to change their assault plan. Instead of sitting idly thinking everything was going fine they aknoledged that they were cornered. Their king, The Demon Emperror Tarnar had also admitted he was careless declaring war out of the blue just because of a promess that was made so long ago, he even forgot what it was about, but now there was no going back, or he wins or he loses.
He declared all Devil Schools on his continent to stop their normal schedule and ingage in "War Catastrophe" mode, and they complied, immediatelly making their students start hellish training to reach the avarage level of Proficient Mage on the contry.
In this current era, the Levels of Magic went like this;
Casual- Was the level most non-combatant mages had, with this they could cook a meal, do some tricks to earn money and some times heal some Shallow wounds.
Trainee- As a Trainee you could engage in real combat and be helpfull in tense battles.
Proficient- Mastering at least one element, technique or stand out in a special aspect meant you were proficient. Most people would just barely reach this level in their whole lives, but at this level you can exert much more power than a mere trainee. Being a Proficient Mage meant that you could use magic at free will. But being stuck in the Proficient level doesn't mean you're weak, just means you haven't become Outstanding in anything specific, people can still become infinitelly strong as just a Proficient Mage
Master- Being a Master Level Mage is a dream. Master Level Mage meant that you were a specialist in a specific area. Be it healing, attacking, support. Not only a single magic or element, you have to have mastered an entire role to be considered a Master. Most Legendary mages in the legends were Masters.
Sage- Being a sage required a single accomplishment. But one that was so important and impacting to the magic society, that could be considered the most important; Creating a new Magic Field. Fire, ice, earth, dark, light, gravity, life, death, divine, demonic. All of these magic fields were created by a Sage, they are beings so powerful, that it's said they are compared only to demi-gods, the original creators of Magic Fields.
Millenial- As the Name said, One of these mages only appear once in a Millenium. A millenial Mage not only has created a Magic Field, but also mastered one or two other Fields. That's the requirement to become Millenial.
Worldly- This Level of magic already surpasses demi-gods and can even step into the realm of the divine, On the long 50000 history of humankind, only 3 beings ascended to this realm of magic. Being able to integrate new rules and concepts into the world. Being one of them the first Son of God and the remaining 2 Bastard Demi-god Sons. Arch angels and Devils are born with this level of power
Heavenly- God Level is a little too puny for this kind of mage, no, deity. Being accepted as the son of God was the only requeriment for this level of mostruous magic. Most gods and High Gods are in this Level, and they can destroy just as easily as the creator.
Absolute- This is Atta and Noelin's power level. There is no magic in their bodies, they only use their abilities to exert influence into other planes. Noelin manipulating events and people and Atta Building everything above and below that.
But clearly, these descriptions are way too exagerated. to tell the thruth everything seems fine, but to be on the level to integrate a rule into the world someone has to be at least on the level of Absolute.
The thruth is, in his 2 months of evolving this world, Atta created a huge planet, that civilisation only just explored a quarter of it, and in it's description, is said to be only one amid a infinite amount of other planets just as gracious as it.
Their current "Worldly" Mage can at most integrate an effect or expecific rule to a group of continents. but the world? Ha! Atta the creator of it all couldn't do that! Bugs were everywhere after all. How could a puny mage do it? Impossible!
Also between each Magic Rank there was a sub-Level, like the trainee that had the "Begginer Level" and the Sage that could become an "Immortal"
Their world view was already a bit off, but as he watched over the demon continent, things seemed even weirder.
No one was using magic casually there!
"Strange!"
He swipped back and forth, and even slowed the time around him to make time past faster but just when he saw a little demon using a fire spell to save his friends from a beast he realised the severity of his 2000 years of abcense absence with only one sentence.
"Trainee!! This is already Begginer Trainee stage!"
They. had. declined!
Atta felt like losing the strength in his legs.
Decline! One of the many horrible incidents that could lead society to it's doom; Boredom.
Atta didn't want that! He had already spent 2 months evolving them. how could after so much time he just drop it and start another world anew.
'Don't tell me they lost the ancient scrolls i left behind all those years ago? I can't just keep interfering everytime you guys have a issue. There's a whole planet for me to care for y'know?'
'I can't do this. I gotta find someone to do this work for me. Someone who isn't holy. I need a messager, a hero if you will. Should i create it?'
"No..." Atta muttered as he looked up.
'This isn't a far dimension of reality. This is actually a world inside the vast and known "Internet". Could it be, could i....' Atta's eye went wide and his hearth started pumping.
'Bring someone from my old world here?!'
