"Jessica?" Mrs. Walker was startled to see Jessie standing in front of her door when the door opened. She had no idea that her daughter would return home so quickly. "Wait a minute, what are you doing here? It's very early. It's 7 in the morning."
Being in the same room as Din was becoming intolerable to Jessie. She was furious about everything, but she refrained from yelling at him for ruining her life.
"Good morning, mom." Jessie approached for a hug. She held her mother for a prolonged period of time while she resisted crying. As she slowly let go of her mother, she took a deep breath. "I have missed you." Jessie held her hands.
"Come inside. It is cold out there." Jessie approached the couch and sat down as Mrs. Walker shut the door behind her. She took another deep breath and looked around the house. She hasn't been home for several months. "Would you like me to make you some tea?"
