"Will, I don't understand you right now. She is flirting. Trying to get me upset. Perhaps she caught Beth and I together this morning."
"I get it, dude. Go speak with her. I know that Jessie is the type of woman who is understanding. If you tell her what transpired between you and Beth, she will comprehend you. Go now." He pushed Din gently.
Din walked up to them and sat down next to Jessie. "Can I talk to you?" he asked Jessie. Jessie remained silent. She was fiddling with the tip of her hair while still maintaining her gaze on the bartender. Din looked directly into the bartender's eyes and made a head motion for the man to leave.
"I'll see you soon. Miss." He walked away.
As she turned to face Din, Jessie scowled. "Seriously? You had to send him away?"
"And he called you Miss?"
"I'm not married to you in a legal sense."
