"Oh wow, chicken soup." After tasting the food in her mouth, Jessie looked at Din. "This is really good."
"I cooked it, and it's good for your health. Surprise." Din couldn't help but smile, but the three girls exchanged glances in response to what he said. "What are you guys doing? Eat up." When Din observed the environment, he added.
"Did you know he could cook?" Sierra shook her head in response to Jessie's question.
"Trust me, Jessie; I'm just as shocked as you are."
"Well, I am surprised too." Bev shrugged her shoulders and dropped the spoon on the table. "Just because I like your food doesn't mean I like you," she added.
"At least she admits my food is delicious."
Although mockingly, Bev recited Din's words. "This food doesn't explain what you said earlier."
"What did I say?"
"That you and Jessie share a room. We all know that is not the truth."
"But grandad doesn't."
