Entering into her room, the first thought Sooha had in mind is to remove the figure-hugging borderline suffocating dress on her body and charged for a quick shower. Wearing something comfortable, she jumped onto the bed and rolled around, hugging a pillow.
This felt like heaven to her. Unlike in party, there is no one she need to pay mindful and act out of comfort zone. She felt gaining freedom again. Indeed she is still not suited for such events. Someone who can't conceal their emotions like her is better suited to work in background, rather than step in the frontier. Explains why her mother always insisted her to control her emotions, because if she didn't, soon those emotions will control her life.
Moms are always right in these things. As she was drilling into her memories, her phone buzzed crazily. The heavy metal ringtone has the ability to rain hell on earth, if it went on for long. This crazy ringtone, which one couldn't help but hear even if they are on the other side of the room is specially allotted to a certain someone in her life. And, that really suits that someone.
Happily ever receiving his call, her lips curled up into a smile. Without wasting a second, she answered the call," Oh!!Oppa*, what is it?" She casually questioned him, knowing very well how busy his schedule has always been.
Feeling wronged, the person on the other end of the call snorted in discontent, " Wa..Am I looking so unscrupulous to you? You sound as if I only call you for favors."
Sooha let out a laugh, clearly knowing her cousin must have pouted at the end of extra 'effect'. Talking to him makes her happy, while teasing him makes her heart satisfied. Is this what they call childish behaviour? However, she couldn't get bothered by what it is.
Ready to shoot her response, she actively continued the conversation, " Or else what? How should I fanthom a call out of blue from young master kim who is always busy?" Her voice rang with sadness, though her face couldn't help but say otherwise.
Getting a blow to his conscience, Soobin let out a dry laugh, " My bad, my fault for calling you off last minute Sooha."
Soobin admitted his fault and desperately tried for a way to please her. Though he know it ain't any serious, but a promise is a promise and since he wasn't able to withhold it, he need to do whatever the other party asks.
From their conversation, it's pretty clear to him that, Sooha isn't in any bad mood, if anything, he could tell she was more relaxed, from her tone. Taking her good mood to his advantage, he wanted to enter into a truce as soon as possible.
Initially, Sooha and Soobin were supposed to attend Wang's party together. However, because of an emergency, he had to drop out at last minute and needed to visit the hospital.
"Looks like our sooha is still angry on her oppa. How about this? Since Oppa couldn't come with you, how about going to Mr.baker next weekend? I will buy your favourite soboro-ppang and chestnut bread, we can also visit an amusement park, might as well do something you like?" Soobin suggested, knowing very well, he could buy her easily with just these.
Spending almost all their lives together, he knows her likes and dislikes very well. So he never felt nerve-wrecking to deal with her. All she ever wanted was to spend quality time with people she love, which isn't hard for him to do. So he mindfully gave in to her inner wishes like always.
"Hmm...." Sooha dragged the hum, "its pretty small truce for what you've done" her mock thought was so clear, that Soobin had to stop the snicker that threatened to burst out. Sooha definitely wouldn't take that easily.
Remembering something, she continued to voice it out, " Oppa, remember to tell little uncle to come by tomorrow for breakfast. "
Upon hearing this, Soobin's smooth forehead marked with creases. Letting out a chuckle, his voice followed, "Looks like young miss Kim knocked at troubles door.You couldn't have picked up any better time?"
Though his voice sounded a bit loud, Sooha knew it's not because he was angry at her but concerned. He had to visit a branch hospital and wasn't at Seoul right now. So he is worried that their old man might snap at her after he gets the news.
That explained to him her happy mood. She must have done something that could upset old kim, yet she is satisfied with herself for doing so. He is happy for her as consequences can always be dealt with later. He isn't really someone who pokes into someone's personal life, however, Sooha isn't just anyone to him.
"How serious is it?" The all-composed Soobin tone took a serious direction.
