The rest of the weekend went on by like a breeze. School started again on Monday and Lucifer had cut the hair Apollo had grown out for him. He swore to himself to never allow Apollo to dress him up ever again.
When he exited the car with his homework, he noticed everyone staring at him and the sibling trio behind him.
It wasn't a good stare. It was filled with hostility and hatred. It's been so long since he was looked at like this by so many people. It felt a bit refreshing but at the same time, it was worrying.
"Why are they staring at us like that?" Artemis said she was feeling a bit uncomfortable.
They entered the school and the stares got a lot worse. What is going on? "The stares of hatred," Lucifer said, he had this small smile on his face. "You guys aren't usually on this end of the spectrum, how do you feel?" he said.
"Like they should be punished," Athena said coldly. She was about to use her power to curse the entire school, but she was stopped by Lucifer.
"Don't do my job for me," he said jokingly, Athena looked at him coldly.
Apollo went over to one of the girls on the side. "Excuse me, beautiful ladies," he said politely.
"What do you want?" one of the girls said rudely, she stood in front protecting the rest of her friends.
"Nothing," Apollo said smiling, holding his anger. "But could you tell me what is going on?"
"Don't pretend like you don't know what you did to Ms. Lillian," the girl standing protectively in front of her friends said.
"Who's Ms. Lillian?" Apollo said looking very confused.
"Oh," Lucifer said, scaring Apollo. The God of Light turned around to see him and his sisters standing behind him.
"You scared me," Apollo said but Lucifer brushed him off.
"What did she say I did?" Lucifer asked the girls. He was shorter than they were, so it was a bit awkward for him.
"You and your friends attacked her yesterday, she was sent to the hospital yesterday."
Lucifer listened to her explanation and thought for a while. "No we didn't," he replied.
"Don't lie!" a student shouted angrily. "We all know you are a horrible person!"
"I am aware of that!" Lucifer shouted back. "But why would I go out of my way to beat someone up while I was enjoying my beautiful weekend," he said.
"Don't act innocent," Lillian said, her voice sounding so broken. Lucifer turned around to look at her.
He walks to her, but his path is blocked by everyone. "You wouldn't hurt her again because of your jealousy."
Lucifer rolled his eyes before raising his hand and brushed everyone aside. Everyone fell to the ground and he just floats towards Lillian, surprising everyone in the hall.
He takes a good look at her while she looks at him in false fear. Her aura was filled with pride. "You say I injured you," he said getting down.
"Don't act innocent, I have proof of you making your friends beat me up!" Lillian said before a loud crack was heard before a scream.
Lucifer had broken Lillian's leg. "Continue speaking," he said, his eyes were very cold. He grabs her hair and pulls her to his face. "Why aren't you saying anything?" he asked innocently.
The students were surprised to see Lucifer break Lillian's leg right in front of them. When he pulled her hair they came to their senses and were about to run to her aid.
"Any of you come here and I would behead her right here, right now," Lucifer said, creating a large axe and placing it on the ground. "And that is a promise."
"He's angry," Apollo said looking at Lillian pitifully.
"Why don't you stop him?" One of the girls behind him said, afraid of what happened to Lillian.
Apollo laughed. "Absolutely not," he said, with this weird smile on his face. "I wouldn't want to start another five-century war," he muttered.
Seeing that Lillian didn't say anything Lucifer truly got angry. Apollo saw his aura. "Oh, sorry," he said. "Now he's angry."
'He'll probably end up killing everyone in the entire school if this goes on,' Athena thought.
Lucifer became calm again. It seemed like his anger had depleted. He used his magic to erase almost everyone's memories and froze time, with only the gods, himself, and Lillian being able to move.
"If you don't speak right now, I will break every bone in your body," Lucifer said coldly.
Lillian looked around to see why nobody was helping her, but she noticed that the world around her was grey.
Lucifer held out his holopad. "No one will save you," he said.
Lillian looks at Apollo, Athena, and Artemis, asking for help with her eyes.
Lucifer slaps her hard, her jaw nearly dislocated. "Don't think they would help you," he said.
"The Cruz family wouldn't let you--"
Lillian was hit again on her ribs, and she spat out blood. "I'm getting impatient, Ms. Lillian," he said. "And don't think of threatening me with ratting me out to Augustus, he knows what I'm capable of."
Lillian was still quiet, then Lucifer said maniacally, "Oh, you aren't going to talk... This is going to be fun."
The A-siblings watched as Lucifer mercilessly broke Lillian's arm, her screams didn't make them flinch at all.
"It's a shame for such a beautiful girl to be beaten up like this," Apollo said.
"Okay, I confess," Lillian cried while in pain. "Please stop."
Lucifer smirked. "Alright," he said. "Apollo, come and heal this girl!"
Apollo stepped forward and healed Lillian. "Speak," Lucifer said once she was healed.
Lillian confessed how she had attempted to frame Lucifer for hating her for being Augustus' ex-fiancé and using his friends to gang up on her. "Is this what framing is like these days?" Lucifer said. "So lame, back in my days, you could frame someone for murdering the king and barely get away with it."
"You did that?" Artemis said in surprise.
"No, I was the one that was framed," Lucifer replies blankly before turning back to Lillian who is horrified.
"W-w-who--"
"Is there anything you guys want to do before I unfreeze time and everything returns to normal?" he asked.
"Yes, there is one thing..." Athena said, stepping forward, her eyes glowed. "You are a princess in the eyes of your family because you are an omega," she said. "From now on, your omega status has been revoked, and everyone around you will know of your horrid ways. Now, whenever the people speak they shall hear nothing but lies coming from your mouth, they will never believe you no matter how hard you try to make things right."
A bright light appears and whatever Athena did was done. "Alright now you can unfreeze time," she said.
Lucifer drags Lillian up and adjusts her clothes. "No one except you will remember the events of ten minutes ago," he said. "And no one will believe if you tell them," he said, before snapping his fingers and he and the gods disappeared from her sight.
Time unfroze and Lillian screamed in horror once she realized that she was standing in the events of about ten minutes ago. "What are you screaming for, Ms. Lillian?" A student asked impatiently.
She saw Lucifer, Athena, Apollo, and Artemis walking to class like nothing happened.
"Th-they--" She stammered pointing at them but was interrupted by the students.
"You already framed Phoenix twice for what he didn't do," a different student said this time.
"Poor Phoenix, to be targeted by such a hateful person..."
Lillian could clearly remember what had happened. Everyone was against Phoenix and his friends, so how did it turn out to be everyone against her?
