Lucifer looks down and sees the symbols of the Elder Gods. This was their signature, a Thunderbolt representing Zeus, a Valknut representing Odin, and finally a Sun Disk representing Amun-Ra. They are using their object symbol.
His eyes glowed, and his object symbol appeared. A Broken Mirror.
"I've signed it," Lucifer said, handing the scroll to Athena.
Athena doesn't collect it. "This is for you to keep," she said. "Your signature has appeared in the scroll in the heavenly realms."
Lucifer nodded. He takes out his holopad.
"Who do you want to call?" Artemis asked.
"My fiancé and the owner of this house," Lucifer responds looking at them his eyes were a bit lifeless. "I am not the owner of this body, I thought that you would have done your research before you came here," he said.
No, they didn't even know how successful this 'peace treaty' would be. So they spent a long time in the time chamber to learn a lot of Lucifer's moves, magic, and fighting style.
"You are engaged to a human?" Apollo said in surprise.
Lucifer didn't respond to him. He didn't put up his disguise because it was Augustus he was going to talk to.
Augustus picks up the call almost immediately. His face pops up almost immediately.
He sees that Lucifer's eyes are looking very dull. "Did something bad happen?" he asked in worry.
"It's nothing," Lucifer replied.
"You look sad," Augustus said. "Would you like me to order you some of your favorite desserts, no sugar will be skipped."
Athena, Apollo, and Artemis were surprised by the way a human was talking to Lucifer like he was pampering a child or a kitten. Surely he would be greatly insulted by this.
But their jaws dropped when a wide smile appeared on Lucifer's face. "Really?" he asked.
Augustus laughed out loud. "It takes so little to make you happy," he said fondly. He then said, "However, you can't have it today, you have to go to school tomorrow."
"What why?" Lucifer whined like a child.
Augustus gave him a look and it said, 'Are you asking that right now?'
"You have assignments to do, which I'm sure haven't started, and tests to study for Lucifer, if you have any sugar-based desserts you go insane and pass out which isn't good."
'The human knows of his true identity,' Athena thought. 'And yet he treats him like this.'
"I'm not talking to you anymore," Lucifer said pouting, just before he cut the call, he heard Athena clear her throat. "Oh right, I forgot about you three," he said, this was very insulting to them, how could he forget?
"Hm?" Augustus said in confusion. "There are people with you?"
"Yeah," Lucifer said in a carefree tone, he turned the screen to the gods in his room. Apollo and Artemis were no longer on his bed, they had stood up and walked to where Athena was, they were curious to see who could talk to Lucifer like he was a child.
They saw Augustus, the second prince of the Empire, one of the few people that the Elder Gods began keeping an eye on. The reason wasn't known by a lot of gods but now it is clear.
Lucifer turns the screen back to himself. "Long story short, they are gods, Apollo, Artemis, and Athena," he said scratching his ear. "I'm sure you have an idea who they are," he said.
Augustus nodded in response. "Well we have a peace treaty," Lucifer began to explain. "And they need to keep an eye on me so I don't break the peace treaty," he said.
"Are you asking me for permission for them to stay in the house?" Augustus said.
Lucifer looks around refusing to meet his eyes. "Yes," he replies.
"But you don't have to do that," Augustus said. "You are the current master of the house as my fiancé, you can do whatever you want as long as you don't destroy the house."
"You are so nice," Lucifer said in a high-pitched voice.
"Was he always like this?" Apollo whispered in his sisters' ears.
Artemis shook her head in response. "I've never seen him like this," she whispered back.
Athena doesn't say anything. She is one of the few gods who knows his past and what he was like aside from the Elder Gods, she knows what he was like. 'It's nice seeing him behave like this again,' she thought.
"Before I hang up, can I use your card to buy four more holopads?" Lucifer asked.
"What do you need four holopads for?" Augustus asked.
"I want to use my clones to finish my homework," Lucifer said, then proceeded to explain why he needed four holopads.
"What would happen if you don't need the holopads anymore?"
Lucifer thought for a while about what he would use it for. He looks at the gods in front of him. "I'll give it to them," he said pointing at them.
"Alright then," Augustus replies. "I'll call the servants to tell them that you have guests, try making a story believable for them, also Rosetta make sure you explain it to her before she makes dinner so she can prepare extra."
"There's no need for that," Lucifer said then suggested, "I can just rewrite the memories that you told them."
"Alright," Augustus said. "Turn the screen around."
Lucifer looks at the gods and then at Augustus before turning the screen. "It's nice to have you in my home, please make yourselves comfortable," he said.
"Thank you, Young Mortal," Athena said respectfully.
Augustus smiled at them and Lucifer turned the screen back to himself. "Bye," he said then he cut the call.
He looks at the gods, his smiling face dissipated a bit, but his eyes were still a bit lively. "Go and start your disguise, I'm going to rewrite today's timeline for the servants so it isn't too stressful."
The gods nodded and disappeared. While Lucifer rewrote time for the servants and soon he heard a knock on his door. "Young Master Phoenix," he heard from the other side of the door. "Our guests have arrived."
