Lucifer went to school annoyed. He thought they would sleep or their guard would have been down at least. He even tried to enter the study room by teleporting in, but it didn't take a minute before someone burst into the room with a gun ready to end whoever it was.
He was invisible for a while waiting for the black-haired man to leave. But he didn't leave, instead, he pulled out a device and began scanning the room with it. He had no choice but to return to his room and wait for daybreak.
He didn't have the opportunity to test Phoenix's newly enhanced ability either because he was rushed out of the house with a smoothie in his hand. "Sorry about this Young Master Phoenix, but we suspect that there might be an intruder in the house," Em said before pushing him out to leave.
Lucifer shouldn't be annoyed by this, it was his fault.
He walks past some students who are talking about an incident that happened last night. "Did you guys also feel that pressure last night?"
"Yea, I thought I was going to die."
"The military says it might have to do with an ability user."
"There's never been an ability user whose ability could affect the entire planet."
Lucifer was confused for a while, an ability user whose ability was felt all over the planet. How come he never felt it?
It then clicked on him. 'Oh, that was me,' he thought. It now makes sense why those two servants were behaving that way.
He was quite absent-minded and didn't realize someone was behind him. It wasn't until he heard a scream did he snapped out of his thoughts.
He looked down to see a red-haired female on the ground her eyes were teary and she looked very pitiful. "You tripped me," she accused loudly.
Everyone turned their attention to them and Lucifer raised an eyebrow. What is she trying to do? It is clear that he didn't trip her, if he had done so, he too would be on the ground.
But with the way everyone was looking at him, if he didn't do anything, it would probably cause a lot of hate for him, not that he minds, but it would be troublesome for him right now.
"I apologize for tripping you, it was an accident," he said stretching out his hand to help this girl get up, but his hand got slapped away adding to his annoyance.
"No, you tripped me intentionally, just because you are the fiancé of the second prince you think you can bully me?" The girl shouted it was clear that she was trying to cause trouble for him.
Lucifer made a weird face. "Bully you?" he said, flabbergasted. No, scratch that, how does she know that he is Augustus' fiancé?
The crowd began murmuring. "Prince Augustus' fiancé?"
"Just because he is the His Highness' fiancé, he thinks he can bully Ms. Lillian."
"Do you forget, Ms. Lillian was the second prince's fiancé."
Lucifer wasn't bothered by this, he didn't want any trouble or attention, but he got it. He saw her smirk, it wasn't noticeable to others but he good see it. Her aura was filled with jealousy.
"Phoenix!" he heard Hiro shout his name, he looked up to see him, Roger, Rosemarie, and Philip running towards him.
"Oh, good morning, guys," Lucifer said, his attention completely diverted from the girl on the floor.
"Good morning," Everyone greets him back. Hiro noticed that people were with their holopads and recording something. He looks to the ground and sees Lillian. "Oh hey Lillian," he said in a cheerful voice. "Why are you on the floor?"
"She said I tripped her because I am Augustus' fiancé," Lucifer said, uninterested.
"But you didn't though," Hiro said, in a matter-of-fact voice.
"And how would you know that Hiro," Lillian said in an accusatory voice, standing up and brushing her skirt.
Hiro looks at her blankly. "Because if he wanted to use his position as His Highness's fiancé, he would have done so a long time ago rather than waiting to see you."
"I didn't even know who you are until some stranger in the crowd said so," Lucifer said shrugging. The first bell rang and Lucifer walked out of the scene. "If you want to frame me for tripping you, at least tell me first so we can rehearse together and you don't look like an attention-seeking fool, alright?"
With that Lucifer simply left. "Ouch..." Someone in the crowd said.
"Phoenix is His Highness' fiancé?" Roger said in surprise. "Why am I just knowing about this?"
They began walking away to go to class. "Right," Hiro said. "I wouldn't even have known if not for the day Xavier and I were invited by His Highness for dinner."
Everyone left. What is the point of staying here? Nothing is happening anymore.
When Lucifer got to class, he realized that he recognized the girl. She was a bully to Phoenix before he was sent out of the capital planet by his parents to go and live at the corner of the Empire.
Her attempt to frame him for intentionally tripping her was very dumb and not well thought through.
He applauded her efforts though. Because of her stupid stunt, he felt a large quantity of hatred from many gullible teenagers who believed her little stunt.
She isn't part of the people Phoenix wanted revenge on, that was how little the original owner cared about her stunts.
To be honest, Phoenix should have been concentrating on getting revenge on her rather than Hiro.
Hiro is too innocent and nice to receive the humiliation he was about to put him through.
He just hopes that she doesn't bother him anymore.
