I was in the camp, doing my principal duties, signing some papers, when I sensed something happening at the edge of the field.
I rolled my eyes then stretched my arm to my left then the two men got the message in their minds that if they wanted to fight, they had to either do it in a duel or hug it out.
They decided to settle their differences in a duel, temperamental drama kings.
I then sent another message to them that the duel was happening the next day during lunch, none of them were pleased since they would go hungry so I told them they were free to chicken out, the last to quit was the automatic winner by submission, their pride prevented them from giving up, just what I wanted...
I also told them I was personally going to officiate when I checked their memories and stats, they were not bad.
The blonde man with silver eyes was a level 6.02 Hurricane Lad, he secretly had a crush on Anneliese, which made me wish he'd be pounded to death, his opponent on the other hand, had red hair and silver eyes, he was a level 6.10 Metalad, he on the other hand, looked up to me and respected my boundaries.
From their memories, I could tell they had both been enemies virtually the moment they walked into the camp, with their own fan clubs ready for war on either side, the blonde guy, who was by name Trent Copperfield, led the anti Felix army, the jealous haters who gotta hate, while Emmanuel Richardson, led those who basically worshipped me and knew everything about me, which made me a little uncomfortable, but that didn't make me root for him any less.
After I was done with the message, I sensed some young men doing something strange and dangerous...they were bullying Alex.
I immediately hydroteleported to the scene to stop him from freezing the group to near absolute zero, right before sending them to temperatures thousands of degrees above the melting point of water using a Hydron Laser.
I reflected the laser to a wall using a Plasma Shield and told him to calm down, but rather, he screamed, luckily, I was able to silence him with my Hydro Boom soon enough.
When I restored his voice, one of the men then said,"How does it feel like for someone half your age to be twice as good as you?"
Alex lost it and lunged at him but I caught him in time.
A crowd gathered as I impounded the men.
It was true that Apollo was at a higher level than Alex, being at level 4.07 while Alex was on level 2.98, Alexa was also above his class, because of her intellectual prowess, but Trevor was with him, but that didn't mean Apollo was in any way better than Alex and I tried to make it clear to him, but rather, he threatened my son.
Alex yelled,"All of this is because of you! You ruin everything! First my family and now my life! I will make sure I ruin yours as well."
Then he struggled out of my grip and walked away.
Apollo was shivering as he said,"Daddy, I'm scared."
I knelt down beside him then said,"No, no, no, listen, I will never let anyone hurt you, not even my own brother, you trust me, right?"
He nodded then I hugged him tightly, but sensed Alex destroying school property not far away, then sighed inaudibly, though I knew my son and daughter had both sensed it.
I went to the ocean to practice another move Bertha had taught me.
I was already fastest in water, but this skill could make me much faster, using super cavitation to swim.
This worked when I separated the water in front of myself in a bullet like shape, making a slip stream(area of low pressure).
Due to the phase diagram of water, when at such low pressures, it boiled into gas, even at room temperature.
This greatly reduced the drag and skin friction the water induced on me and the low pressure acted like a mild vacuum, pulling me forward, but since I was totally surrounded by water in the ocean, even with the bubble I could easily pull very great volumes of water to my hands and feet and blast them back, shooting me forwards.
This method made me accelerate so fast, I broke the sound barrier in water in three seconds, making me travel at supersonic speeds, I was so fast in fact, rocks and obstacles in my way weren't a problem since I simply, painlessly broke right through them.
It was mostly used in weapons like torpedoes and bullets, but they had to use pressurised gases to blow back the water, since they couldn't literally tell it what to do like I could.
This method was fast but had its limitations. I couldn't turn in time due to the speed so it was best for long distance travel in one direction, but if I needed to change directions frequently, I needed to swim normally.
The duel came on and the men were excited to show each other what they were made of and that they were better than their opponents.
I stated the rules, then began the match.
The win was a tight one but Emmanuel, the Metalad won.
I also tried to make Trent feel better even after losing to preserve my father's morals and it worked, I was so relieved.
Bertha was filing her nails when she heard gun shots then a flood washed several cops and crashed them into a wall, hard.
Then all the water formed a huge tiger which roared and ran through the bullets then threw shards of ice which pierced many other cops.
All the prisoners were shocked but Bertha was indifferent and continued what she was doing.
Water creeped through the smallest spaces around the graphene door then froze and the force from the anomalous expansion exploded the hinges but the ice kept it in place, till it instantaneously melted.
Then the water crept down and pulled the door to throw it away.
Bertha blew off the filings from her nails then said,"I expected somebody taller."
Alex then said in a deadly tone,"Don't underestimate me."
She then asked,"So why are you freeing me when I made you grow so weirdly and amped up your powers?"
"Because we both want the same thing, to make that no good, ungrateful brat my brother calls a son to pay for ruining our lives."
Bertha frowned then yelled,"How on earth did you know? Ha! Finally someone gets me, it will be a pleasure working with you, brother in law..."
