"Isn't it a wonderful day, my dear?"
"No."
"Well, it's going to be whether you like it or not because this is a peace between your soon-to-be husband's kingdom and 'our' beloved kingdom, so act like it."
"Peace means nothing to you! You tell me respect is what keeps a true king living. Even if you had respect, it doesn't mean you don't have someone who's going to stab you in the back."
"Eventually, you'll agree, daughter. Evelyn!"
Evelyn was standing beside the double doors waiting for Princess Erini to finish her majesty's breakfast meal. "Yes, King Athen," as she walked up to the desired length from the King and the Princess, clearly troubled, wondering if her friend was in trouble due to her mouthing back to her Father. "Bring my daughter to get ready for her wedding, do her hair, and make sure she doesn't misbehave." "Yes, King Athen."
Upon walking back from getting dressed in a gorgeous white dress fit for a "princess" with a light green laced corset on her waist with the string reaching down to the ground, white laced line. A beautiful emerald green necklace upon her neck.
"You look fit for the wedding, just gorgeous!" Evelyn said, all excited, "not good." A glare came from Eve and a quite teasing sarcastic response, "what are you going to do? Leave him at the altar while he cry's."
Only a "hmm" could come out as a response from Erini, showing her irritation.
While Erini was left in the room, she was to remain in until she had to walk down the aisle with her Father. Erini then put her plan in motion, and she grabbed a bag hidden within a hole on the wall from underneath an old painting.
The bag revealed clothing, a long rope, a journal including the journal's quill, and different kinds of ink in a separate part of the bag, along with small bags the size of a pocket filled with money and gold coins. Erini got dressed, a black tank top, a dark green archer's hood, and a black leather holster with a lace green tie to keep the corset from falling. Erini proceeded to take out more resources from the hole.
The resources were black boots, a brown leather belt with pockets, a weapon l holder, and an archer's bow and arrows. Erini then grabs an item far more carefully than the others. She shows her care as she softly examines it. As it was her Grandfather's dagger, no, her father's dagger, that he'd passed down to her with the following words "your Father mustn't know, but you will use it to defend. Defend yourself or others you truly care about."
Erini, for the first time in a long time, felt hope, for she had unconcerned the dagger time as it was always kept covered under those rugged rages even when her grandfather had personally given the family descendants dagger to her, she had never uncovered it from its rags of thick fine torn-down fabric, but now she knew the daggers true beauty.
The dagger was a beauty that new-made jewelry could not be compared to. It was true, for it was pure black metal; it showed a double-edged dagger shining from the little light coming through the window. With a soft "Love you, grandfather," she sets her dagger onto her belt and fastens it.
Erini then grabbed the rope beside her and, with a kick, she forcefully opened the window. A rope began to be hooked up to the window handle and tested to see if it could support enough weight for her weirdly petit body despite her strength. If someone else went after her through the same rope, it would lead to their grave.
Footsteps running throughout the background and soft swords showing no regret can be heard if you're close, "a new beginning, a new era."
