Lexington
The night of the sorority party
"So, that's the sister?"
Brooklyn followed me into her room closing the door behind her and sitting in the purple velvet chair at her vanity to start removing the classic diamond studs from her ears. They were a gift from her father for her sixteenth birthday. "Yes, that's her sister. Renee has shown me tons of pictures of her."
I lie back on her bed, propping myself up on my elbow. "So, what else did you hear from Daddy Sean?"
Rolling her eyes she responds, "God it's creepy when you call him that."
The smirk I give her is coltish and I can't stop myself from poking a little further. "Well, he's your girlfriend's father, so if you were to marry her, he would be your father-in-law."
