Chapter 19 - Dikta family

Dark clouds covered the sky and prevented any light from passing through. Flashes of lightning would light up the skies every now and than.

*Knock* *knock* *knock*

A knock could be heard through the sound of pouring rain, it was raining cats and dogs. It had done so all night and it didn't seem like it would stop any time soon.

"Damn it, I'm coming! " Henry cussed out as he forced himself to wake up. Even though they couldn't leave the academy, saturday's and sundays were still given to them, well not always. Most of the students chose to sleep in.

*Knock*

"Yeah I'm coming. Huh.. What are you doing here" Henry responded. He opened the door and was surprised to see Akira wearing his pajamas, not only that he seemed to be half asleep and barely keeping his eyes opened.

"Why don't you answer your phone? let's go@" the boy grumbled in anger.

"Where are we goi-" Henry wanted to ask but stopped when he saw the look Akira was giving him.

"Huh, who's at the door, this early? "

"What time is it?"

"Huh what did you say"

Henry heard the others talking and quickly threw on some clothes and grabbed his stuff and left.

"So where are we going" Along the way, Henry asked.

"I don't know, they also woke me up. Grandpa Hue and Grandpa kento that is" it seemed like Akira wasn't a morning person.

When they got outside Henry saw a flying car the size of a minibus parked by the door. Unfortunately spaceships weren't a thing and space travel wasn't a common thing yet. Not that humanity didn't try, they just had bigger fish to fry and sadly the flying cars couldn't be flown in space. The door descended open.

Henry jumped inside and only got slightly drizzled, inside he saw six people he was familiar with. His two uncles were wearing their usual armor, the two sisters in their pajamas and two figures wearing armor from head to toe. He'd seen these armors before so he knew who it was.

As soon as they entered the door behind them closed and the car started moving.

"Morning" Henry greeted everyone as he sat down. As soon as he did so he saw Athena look at his direction for a long time. Although he couldn't see her face, he knew that she was staring daggers as him. Hera who was driving turned towards Henry and nodded.

"You slept well?" Uncle Hue asked with a smile.

"I heard that you had a fun week" Kento turned to Henry with a smile.

"You could say that" A dry cough came from Henry's mouth as he looked away.

"Hmmm remember don't be too high profiled, OK?" Uncle Hue frowned and advised.

The car moved at a moderately fast pace, Henry tried to look out the window but he could barely see anything but it seemed like Hera could see just fine. After a while the car gradually slowed down and than the door descended open.

"Well be in for half an hour" Uncle Hue said as he got up.

"shit" as soon as Henry saw his uncle walk towards him, he knew what was going to happened.

Unlike what Henry predicted, his uncle grabbed him and they started levitating out the car. A transparent bubble formed around them and protected them from the rain. They landed on the ground and Henry recognized where they were.

Not fare from them was the castle that Henry had always seen from afar but never bothered to get close, the Dikta family castle.

The castle resembled that of fictional character, who lived in transylvania. They did not get stopped by the guards at the gates but they did look at Henry with a curious gaze.

They made their way on the stone path, grenary filled the yard in an ordered manner. Henry saw a few people relaxing under a small garden house, they seemed to be enjoying tea.

Henry followed his uncle in the castle. The interior of the castle was exquisite, the furniture weren't too big but they seemed to be made of expensive stuff like gold. The gold, red and brown colors that were scattered across the room creative a noble atmosphere and the touches on the pillars added to it.

Uncle Hue spoke to the receptionist and he led the way to a huge vault door. The inside of the vault resembled the inside of a bank but with large lockers. The receptionist opened a locker and bowed towards Hue before leaving.

Uncle Hue reached inside and pulled out a rugged old and dirty sport bag, a small red ring and a purse like satchel. He placed everything on a small table in the middle of the room and than pulled out a stack of 20 or so books from the satchel.

There amount of books that came out of that small satchel shocked Henry, he presumed that it was a magical bag.

"I knew he'd take it, this works just as well" After Uncle Hue removed the books and counted them, it seemed like he was missing one so he placed everything thing back.

"Take this. Follow safely behind me OK" Uncle Hue gave Henry the things to carry. Henry quickly picked up the things when he saw his uncle's expression turn ugly.

Henry had known his uncle all his life and this was the first time he'd seen him make such an expression. The kinda and always gettle uncle suddenly turned into someone else. On another note Henry found that both the dirty bag and satchel had an indifferent yet huge weight to it, it was impossible for something that looked so light to be so heavy but he picked it up nonetheless albeit with some effort.

"Alfred, who opened up my safe" As soon as Uncle Hue came out he quickly found the receptionist and spoke up in anger.

"Master Hue?" The receptionist was not only shocked and confused but he was scared, he hadn't know this man to act like this.

"Something is missing from my stuff" Uncle Hue didn't get physical or violent yet but the receptionist knew that he could go off at any moment.

"I don't know. No one has touched your stuff to my knowledge, I swear" with a shaky voice Alfred responded, although he had been in simular situations. Something about the man infront of him invoked a fear he didn't want to mess with.

"Than it must that old fox" Uncle Hue's expression went from serious to pure anger. His aura changed, a freezing gust of wind came out of his body. The rain that was falling on the castle froze in mid-air and kept a distance, the rain that continued to fall froze and an ice dome around the castle formed.

The temperature in the castle dropped. Ice originating from the lobby of the castle stratched outwards, everything besides the area Henry was standing in was covered in ice. The guards quickly moved towards the lobby with intention to fight.

Uncle Hue looked around for a second before determining on a path and moved further into the castle. Henry followed timidly behind the old man, his path was free from the cold winds that were blowing from his uncle. The guards they meet along the way didn't stop them and just bowed their heads.

After a while of walking they came across a huge magnificent tree. The ice that was cavering the entire castle didn't even touch the tree. The fruit on the tree alluring and the more Henry looked at them the more he got the urge to reach out and pull them. The feeling was so strong that he thought that his blood was reaching out towards the fruit, not only his blood but his body as well.

Henry suppressed the urge and followed his uncle, they came across two huge doors. Before Henry could properly look at the designs of the doors, they were sent flying with one fist by his uncle. The doors were knocked clean of their hinges and knocked another pair infront of them.
