"It can't be... how could there be guys as strong as them so close to the grandline's entrance"
A blue-haired girl muttered in shock and surprise as sweat trickled down her head as she saw three people defeat the agents of the Baroque Works.
"So... which side are you on.. an enemy or an ally?"
The blue-haired girl shook in surprise as she heard a voice behind her and turned around and saw the person who knocked down the two agents with ease.
She gasped in fright when she saw the man and looked back at where the two agents were laying as she questioned how he had managed to appear where she at instantly.
"You... how did you!?"
"That's not really important, is it? so I'll ask again... are you an enemy or an ally?"
"I'm..."
The girl was about to answer when they heard a familiar yell at where Luffy and Zoro were at.
"STOP IT, YOU TWO!"
The two saw how an orange-haired girl managed to knock out Luffy and Zoro with a punch.
"That's a bit disappointing... I never expected that the winner would be Nami"
The man whispered as he stared at where the battle was with a disappointed look.
The two of them then heard her scolding Luffy and Zoro at how she almost lost 1 billion beli and was glad that the blue-haired girl was safe.
"So, that's why you left so suddenly... do you have some sort of instinct when it comes to anything related to money?"
The man walked towards Nami as he waved his hands at her and questioned her with a disbelief look.
"Hmm? Kaito, what are you doing here?"
"Well, I heard some fighting and went here thinking that I could see something interesting but was disappointed instead"
"What does that mean? well, forget about that... did you manage to steal all treasure this town has?"
"Sigh~ yes, yes... I have it in my pockets"
The two conversed as they ignored Luffy and Zoro brawling around on the ground as the blue-haired girl watched in disbelief.
"What're you people talking about... and why did you save me?"
The blue-haired girl couldn't take it anymore and asked them with a doubtful look.
The two stopped conversing with each other as Nami walked and arrived in front of her with a warm smile.
"Ah, that's right... you don't know anything yet... how would you like to make a contract with me?"
"A contract?"

A few minutes later...
"I refuse... but you have my gratitude for saving me just now"
"What, why? you're princess, right? a billion beli should be nothing..."
"Sigh~ have you heard of a kingdom called Alabasta?"
The princess then went on to explain at the history of Alabasta and how it was peaceful long ago before revolutionary activities started happening these past few years which caused Alabasta to be in chaos.
She told them how she happened to come by a certain organization named Baroque Works and how it was this organization who have been instigating the revolutionaries.
"Other than that fact, I didn't know anything else and that's why I requested Igaram if there was any way I could infiltrate the organization"
The princess explained as she looked down with a determined look.
"I don't know if I should call you stupid or brave" Kaito stated.
"No, she's a brave one alright" Zoro remarked.
"You think so? I for one think it's stupid to infiltrate a huge organization without a plan... I mean look what happened, she got caught" Kaito commented.
"I had no choice! I was desperate to save my kingdom... even if I have to jump in front of a beast to save my people, I'll do it!" The princess retorted.
"...Well, I have no comeback for that... you win princess" Kaito conceded.
"Don't call me princess, I have a name... it's Vivi" Vivi retorted.
"I see... then I'll rephrase my sentence, you win Vivi" Kaito stated.
Vivi was annoyed at his attitude as she couldn't help but look at him in irritation.
"Okay calm down, Vivi... he's just like that, ignore him" Nami stated.
"Well, I feel a bit offended" Kaito commented.
Nami stared at him implying to shut up as Kaito nodded and made a zipping sign at his mouth with his hand.
"So, what exactly is Baroque Works scheming towards... wait, don't tell me..."
Nami inquired when she suddenly realized what the organization's true objectives are as she stared the Vivi for confirmation.
"Yes, it's as you might expect... Baroque Works' true objective is to take over the kingdom of Alabasta and if I don't hurry back to tell the people then things will go exactly as they planned"
Vivi answered as she confirmed Nami's suspicion with a nervous and worried look.
Nami sighed dejectedly as she now understood why she refused since a country that is in the middle of a civil strife wouldn't have any money to spare.
"So, who is this boss dude anyways?" Luffy asked.
"No, please don't ask me! it's better if you don't know or else the Baroque Works would come and hunt you down" Vivi answered in a panic.
She shook her head immediately in refusal to answer the question as she was afraid of the power of the organization.
"Haha... just leave us out of it... I mean, a guy who's planning to take over an entire country must be one incredibly dangerous person"
Nami chuckled and shrugged her shoulder as she doesn't want to get involved with such a dangerous person.
"Yes, exactly... no matter how strong you pirates may be... you'll be no match for Crocodile, one of the Warlord of the Sea"
Vivi stated and nodded in acknowledgment as she just told them the true identity of the boss of Baroque Works.
Everyone realized what she just said as they gasped in shock and disbelief at her slip up while Vivi immediately closed her mouth in fear of saying any more information.
"Didn't you just say his name...?"
Zoro asked as he stared at her with a disbelief look while Kaito was laughing out loud and fell to the floor due to laughing too much.
