Everyone gasped in surprise as the Straw Hats stared at Vivi in disbelief when they noticed a vulture and an otter land on a roof besides them as the two creatures eyed the group.
The two creatures and the group stared at each other for a minute before the two animals turned their heads at one another and nodded as the otter rode the vulture and flew away.
"WHAT WAS THAT BIRD AND OTTER JUST NOW!?"
Nami shouted in panic and anger as she grab Vivi's collar and started shaking her out of frustration while Vivi kept apologizing.
"A shichibukai, she said! Whoa!" Luffy expressed.
"Sounds fun~" Kaito stated.
"Heh, not bad!" Zoro remarked.
Nami kept shaking and scolding Vivi as tears started to trickle down from her eyes due to distress.
"We just barely entered the grandline and we already have a shichibukai chasing after us..."
Nami cried in misery and complained as she wiped off the tears on her cheeks.
"No need to worry about it... it wouldn't be an adventure without a little bit of danger" Kaito commented.
"Yeah, we're real lucky to be able to meet him so early" Zoro stated.
"I wonder what kind of guy he is?" Luffy asked.
"SHUT UP, YOU IDIOTS!" Nami shouted.
Nami massages her head as she ponders what to do and decided to run away as she turned around to walk away from the group.
"It's been a real short time traveling with you but bye"
Nami stated as she waved her hand at the group and started to walk away.
"Where're ya going, Nami?"
Luffy asked as he stared at Nami who was walking away with a confused look.
"They don't know my face yet so I'm running away"
Nami answered when she noticed an otter blocking her path and saw how the otter was scribbling something in its notebook.
Scribble~ Scribble~
The otter finished whatever it was writing as it showed them a drawing of the faces of the Straw Hats.
"Wow, you're good!"
Nami praised as she clapped her hands when she saw the otter's impressive drawings of them.
The otter nodded and had a smug smile as if implying that it was obvious that his drawings were great and jumped on the vulture as they flew away.
"NOW I CAN'T EVEN RUN AWAY!"
Nami shouted as she had only realized what just happened and complained with a frustrated look.
"S-Sorry..." Vivi apologized.
"Interesting bunch, those animals" Luffy commented.
"Hmm... I kinda wanna have those animals as pets, is that weird?" Kaito asked.
"Not really, we're at the grandline... anything is possible" Zoro answered.
Nami stared at the group in dumbfounded as she contemplates her life choices
"In any case, with this... all 4 of us are now on Baroque Works' hit list" Zoro stated.
"Haha~ well, that's just how it is" Kaito said.
"This is so coool~" Luffy expressed.
The Straw Hats were conversing about the prospects of fighting a shichibukai while Vivi was consoling Nami in the corner when a man walked towards them.
"Fear Not... It'll be arri- ma~ ma~ maa~ It'll be alright! I have a plan"
A tall man stated with hair and clothes like Vivi while carrying 4 dummies appeared in front of them.
"Igaram? w-what's with that outfit!?"
"Whoa! you can definitely pull off that look!"
"I'm surrounded by idiots..."
The group exclaimed in surprise when they saw the outfit he wore while Nami went into a corner and grumbled.
"Enough about that and just listen to me... once the Baroque Works network learns of what happened, they'll be sure to send pursuers right away"
Igaram stated as he closed his eyes briefly and sighed worriedly as he stared at the group with determination.
"Just to let you know, back in heydays as a pirate... Crocodile had an 80 million beli bounty"
Igaram informed them and stared at the group with a serious look.
"By the way, have you decided on whether or not to safely escort the princess back to Alabasta yet?" Igaram asked.
"Huh? what're you talking about?" Luffy asked.
"He means he wants us to take her back home" Zoro answered.
"Oh... sure, fine by me" Luffy responded.
"Well then, I guess you'll be in our care for the time being, princess" Kaito stated.
"My name is not princess, it's Vivi... and please take care of me" Vivi retorted.
"Wait hold on... 80 MILLION!? THAT'S FOUR TIMES THAN ARLONG'S BOUNTY! JUST REFUSE HIS REQUEST!" Nami shouted.
The Straw Hats were talking to each other while Igaram and Vivi were having a conversation about something called eternal pose.
"Huh? what's an eternal pose?" Nami asked.
"Hm? You don't know?" Igaram questioned.
Igaram then went on to explain the functions of an eternal pose to the Straw Hats about how it can permanently record the magnetic field of an island and can only point to that very island.
"This one particularly has recorded the magnetic field of Alabasta"
Igaram stated as he showed the Straw Hats an eternal pose in his hands.
"Now then, princess Vivi... I shall take this log pose and set forth to Alabasta"
Igaram declared as he started explaining his plan to become a decoy for the Baroque Works while the Straw Hats will deliver the princess to the Alabasta.
"I hereby leave the princess in your care" Igaram declared.
"Well, good luck on that" Kaito encouraged.
"I bet you'll totally fool them!" Luffy stated.
"Fool who?" Zoro asked.
Igaram rode on a ship with the four dummies in his hands as he waved at the group in farewell and sailed away.
The group waved back and smiled as they turned around to prepare and leave for Alabasta when all of a sudden a big explosion erupted.
BOOM~
The group turned around and gasped in shock as the ship that Igaram was on erupted in a giant explosion.
"It can't be... pursuers! already!?" Nami exclaimed.
The group watched in silence at the burning ship while Kaito glanced at Vivi who was biting hard on her lips as blood started trickling down.
"HE WAS A FINE MAN!"
Luffy shouted in anger as he turned around to stomp on the ground and walked away.
"Nami, how's the log!?"
"I-It finished recording!"
"Then let's hurry up and get going!"
Zoro and Nami were conversing with each other while Kaito walked towards Vivi and patted her shoulder.
"Princess, we need to go..."
"..."
"I know you're upset but this is not the time to mourn and I'm sure that Igaram wouldn't want you to be sad"
Vivi turned around to look at him as tears started trickling down her cheeks.
"Sigh~ let's go and don't worry about your safety, we'll make sure to take you back home... even if a shichibukai comes... with the strength of our crew... even a shichibukai wouldn't stand a chance"
Kaito stated and smiled while he patted her head to reassure her as Vivi wiped her tears and looked at Kaito with determination.
"That's much better... come on before the pursuers catch up"
Kaito stated as Vivi nodded in response as the started running away with the others.
