Chapter 146: Christmas Special: A brief story from the past. (Haha, bet you didn't expect a break from a cliffhanger, right?)
In a cold wintery season, the forest was painted with white snow. Snowflakes gently fell from the skies as dawn cracked open a new day.
Lying near a particularly large and tall pine tree was a small lump of snow. It seemed odd compared to its surroundings where everything laid flat after being covered by the thick snow.
Squeak. Squeak.
A squirrel climbed out of the tree's trunk and rested on of the lowest branches. It tilted its head after seeing the large stack of snow but thinking that it might simply be a rock, it switched its attention to other matters such as searching for food.
It was at that moment that the lump of snow suddenly moved, greatly surprising the squirrel that it almost fell off the branch.
Squeak!
