"I'm sure. I'm going to make them pay. They don't deserve to breathe the same air as average people do. They don't deserve to live like nothing happened. The world will know what they did and there would be hell to pay."

There was a reason behind my certain dislike for fancy things. I'd be bluffing if I claim I don't like jewelry or anything that shines.
But if it could be helped, I'd rather have nothing to do with any of it. Wearing them reminded me of the greed that caused my parent's demise.
Being around luxury made me want to curse the world for giving me material wealth, but none of it could ever bring back my parents.
If anyone ever thought that money is everything, I'm a living testament. It isn't.
Money cannot even buy back my soul.
