Tonight, like many other nights, sleep didn't visit me.
I sat on the balcony in my pajamas and stared at the sky. At least it wasn't empty, but only a few were visible.
I let my feet dangle. My room's balcony overlooks the garden. I didn't notice how time had flown so quickly.
One moment it was just late afternoon, and then the next, night already came. Jace and I ate dinner quickly.
I, for one, didn't want another round of that kissing session. My sexy distraction shouldn't add to more of the distraction he already gave me.
"Tch," I snorted. "But where did you learn how to kiss like that?"
I may be inexperienced, but Jace seemed to know what he was doing.
I pursed my lips.
"Hold up, Amiel. Stop being curious. Okay? It's dangerous."
I was walking on a perilous road. There was no going back if I kept moving forward.
"Dammit!" I hissed, removing myself from the balcony before I could even think about jumping off.
