Meanwhile, Karl reached the Acme Mansion bringing some gifts along. He found that Linda's grandfather was fond of sweets so he brought some dessert along.
As his car parked in front of the house, Karl didn't step out immediately. He chanted some words for himself and cleared the uneasiness in his heart.
He didn't know why this meeting with Linda's Grandfather gave him a weird feeling. He was going to meet him for the first time but he also had this underlying feeling that something was awaiting him inside.
Taking a few more minutes, Karl cleared his thought and then walked out of his car.

The entire living hall was filled with dreadful silence with Charles Acme, Linda's grandfather sitting right in front of him on the chair.
Deep inside Karl was getting nervous by his deep penetrating gaze. He had heard from Linda that her grandfather knows everything, but now when he looked at the old man, he felt otherwise.
