"Oh come on Ashley, don't be so formal. Did you forget we have already worked together, or... should I say almost worked together" Jennifer purposely brought up the past.
She was expecting Ashley to get pissed by her remark. She wasn't to degrade her image proving her arrogant and unprofessional. But the response she got in return dropped her mouth.
"How can I forget about it Jennifer, after I was replaced because a certain someone was insecure that I would snatch away her limelight"
Ashely wasn't a child, not to understand what this woman was trying to do.
An insecure woman like her was never going to change and she finally learned that.
Jennifer's face turned ugly at her remark. Her eyes turned cold and she quickly pursed her lips into a thin line.
"I wasn't insecure of you Ashley, because I knew no matter what no one would be able to surpass my beauty" Jennifer switch her reaction from dark to sincere as she forced a smile.
