After Grace managed to convince Tristan, he allowed them to leave for Country X once Dante had successful surgery but on one condition and that was to return once the old man was healed.
He understood why Dante would come up with such a request and there was nothing he could do to change his mind. He could only agree, but partially and his grandfather won't be able to retreat from it.
Once he returned to the room he saw Ashley sitting in the same place. The second she sensed his presence, Ashley quickly stood up and rushed to him.
"What did they say?" she asked nervously.
Ashley never wanted to eavesdrop on their conversation but she happened to. And after whatever she heard, she felt very sad. They were deciding to move away from them and that broke her heart.
