Karl looked at her and saw her cry. His breath hitched when he saw how hurt she looked. He wanted to go and hug her but he stopped himself. It was better if they kept their relationship professional and don't cross the line.
Making his heart strong he looked at her sternly and said," But I mind it. And I won't agree with this" his words came out like a confirmation and she took a step back.
Her heart pained to see how cold his words were that it made her suffocate. She didn't realize he would think this way and put on a distance between them acknowledging their status.
Gwen looked at him with a hurtful gaze and nod her head before she turned and walked out of the house. She couldn't stand his indifference so she left without turning back.
