Ashley tried to keep her cool when she saw how fake her concern looked on that scheme face.
Putting on a smile, she answered," You don't have to worry so much, Jane. After all... you got what you wanted" her word shocked Jane, and her eyes widened in horror.
"W-what are you saying" she stuttered and saw Ashley smirked," You think I am a fool not to understand what you are up to, Jane."
Jane gulped when she looked at her dangerously calm eyes. Even though they looked serene but only she knew the meaning behind it.
"I-I didn't do anything," she tried to oppose her accusation.
Looking around, she relaxed a little as space was already cleared, and only she and Ashley were present at the moment.
"You still want to lie, Jane" Ashley was fed up with Jane's fake innocence because it only made her puke.
She could fool everyone but her, she couldn't fool her at all.
