" Paris, who were you speaking to by the door? Gabriella asked.
" I was speaking with the delivery person and guess who the delivery person is" I said placing the package by the table.
" Who is the person? Gabriella asked without suggesting.
" Sera, our colleague," I said.
" Sera ohh! that chubby girl that nominated you in class. I remember her now. Does she work with the tuck shop? Gabriella asked, slipping her smoothie.
" Yes I was also surprised I just found out myself now but she worked only on weekends according to what she said.
"That's good, this smoothie is well blended and it tastes so fruity" Gabriella said.
" Really" I asked surprisingly.
" Yes, I thought you knew that before you placed an order, '' Gabriella asked.
" No I just placed an order I have never patronaged them before" I replied sipping the smoothie. It's really nice they have earned our esteem patronage" I said to Gabriella who also agreed with me.
" Gabriella's phone rang which I stretched to her.
" Mom how are you? She asked with a smile on her face I knew it was her mom who called, I could hear the caller on the other end even though its was not that audible.
"How are you Gabriella? Her mom asked.
" I'm Fine thanks mom," She replied.
" I called to check up on you. I just spoke to Gabriel a while ago. Hope you are good, my baby? Her mom asked.
" Yes I'm a good mom and have also gotten acquitted with the college lifestyle" She said with a smile.
" That's so alluring to hear my baby. Take good care of yourself and always be studious with college work. I will be transferring some money to you guys wallet soon" Her mom said.
" Ok mom, we will be expecting the transfer mom" Gabriella said.
" Hence I forget Mason sent his greeting," Her said.
Gabriella was silent, her mom repented it again then she replied to her mom.
" mom can we not mention him" She said unhappy

As Gabriella ended the call I knew she was upset but I wanted to give her some space to catch some breath.
" Gabriella what's the matter? I asked her.
As she was about explaining tears dropped.
" Gabriella its ok don't bother explaining" I said to her, tapping her at her back to comfort her and also stop her from squalling. Soon she slept off I was worried because I have never seen Gabriella in that state, She was looking unhappy and inconsolably, after checking on her for some time I went to sleep also.
I woke up early because of Gabriella to try cheering her up and knowing what last night was all about.
" It's morning Gabriella" I said tapping her.
"She opened her eyes a little, Hey Paris," she said with a faint smile.
"How are you ? I asked checking her temperature.
" I don't have a fever" she said, standing on her feet.
" I was really scared last night Gabriella," I said in an undertone voice.
" I'm sorry about that, ' Gabriella replied, giving me a hug.
As she hugged me, I noticed that she was lost in thought so I left her to regain herself fully which she did in less than a minute after.
" Gabriella, I have put on the heater while not try having our bath, Afterwards we go see a movie, What do you think? I asked her with a smile.
" I think I love that," she replied with a deep smile.
Seeing that deep smile from Gabriella was a relief for me.
" chocoholic," I said with a smile.
Gabriella laughed hearing that word chocoholic and I was delighted she was back to herself. She took her bath while dressing. I decided to bathe also. When I got out of the rest room Gabriella was listening to cool music. I could hear the music because she wasn't using earbuds or an earpiece. Gabriella that I know is back to herself I said within myself.
I walked to my wardrobe picking a black joggers with a white polo shirt and a black slide palm along with my waist bag.
"I love your waist bag"Gabriella said touching it.
" Thanks Gabriella' I replied with this deep smile.
" can we leave for cinema now? I asked Gabriella.
