Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

We had lunch together and I rushed to my room saying I will be back. I didn't see that Max was following me I took the book to my hand and suddenly I saw that Max was looking at me. I put the book back under my bed in a sudden and I knew that he saw the book and he rushed to me and took the book to his hands and started reading it. He read the first page and asked what this is? Where did you get this? And a dozen of questions. And first I asked him to calm down and I said the whole story to him and he got stoned for a while. First he thought that it was a joke but after seeing my angry face he realized that I was not lying. However he is the most reliable person I've ever known.

I described Max everything and he promised me to be with me until the end. As my parents were so much interested in Max they agreed to send me to his house and spend the night there and study. So my mom called Mrs. Vampelt and asked whether it is ok for me to stay there. My parents didn't have a so good content in their minds as I'm a girl. It is not good for a girl to stay in a boy's house. But I didn't have any choice other than going to Max's house and read the book together with him as he wanted. We had to reach Max's house before 6p.m. so we left home at 5.30p.m. On our way we ate ice cream. Max was different that time. I wanted to ask him what was the problem but I could not. Suddenly he started talking with the ice cream seller. He asked the seller whether he was doing his job for a long time and he answered that he had been doing this job for more than four years and I was excited by the answer he gave. I have never seen him before but he told that he is living here too. I looked at Max he was curious too. We looked at each other faces and Max whispered something to me. I thought that he was trying to say something important to me so I asked him again what he said as it was not clear to me at the first time. I wanted to pull my hair out when I got to know that he had told me to leave that place as it was getting late.

We finally reached Max's house. And we were discussing about the ice cream seller. Max's parents and his sister were preparing dinner together. Their family was one of the happiest families in the world. Mr. Vampelt was a great father to Max and his mother, Mrs. Vampelt was the most lovable mother while his sister was the cutest. I have never seen such happiness in my family because my parents were busy with their work. Max was a lucky boy. He had a loving family and his parents were so kind to me. So I loved being there too.

Dinner was so delicious and I thanked Max's parents for the dinner and they were so proud as the dinner was delicious. Max and I ran towards Max's sister, Lisa's room. I didn't want to let Lisa to know about the book but as soon as we entered Lisa's room Max described the whole story to her and looked at me with a sweet smile in his face. I was unable to understand how much careless he was. I did not want to put Lisa in a dangerous situation. But now everything is out of control and I could not believe what Max did. And I felt so bad. I wanted to end this problem with Max without hurting anyone else. I knew that Max is intelligent than me and he could help me to complete reading the book. But he ruined everything. If something happens she is also in a danger.

I wanted to talk with Max. So I asked him to come outside for a moment and he followed me asking Lisa to stay in the room. We came to the garden and I started talking to him. I asked him whether something was wrong with him. Max looked surprised and his eyes were wet in a sudden and I felt sorry for him. He is the only one that is able to help me and not only for this problem, he was the only friend I had. I didn't want to hurt him. I hugged him and said that I did not want to hurt him and I want no one to be hurt or to put anyone in a danger, even Max. There was a bigger sorry for me in his eyes for me. Then he told me that he will always be with me and will never leave me until the end and he promised me that he won't let anything happen.
