We had to prepare breakfast ourselves from the fruits and leaves in the forest. The surrounding was so beautiful and the singing of the birds added more beauty while butterflies and beautiful flowers were surrounding us. The forbidden world was so rich in natural beauty. The mountain which we were able to see was the resource of the beauty where it was light green with the mist covering the top of the mountain as if to protect it. The beauty of the nature had amazed both Max and Lisa as well. However the nature took us to another level of amusement.
We walked towards after reading the next page of the book because there was a picture which seemed to be the mountain which was in front of us named "The Mountains of Hope". "Ahah! Then this is the mountain of hope" said Max suddenly pointing his finger towards the mountains. Lisa gave him a weird look which made me smile. I asked Max whether he know about the mountain. But he had no idea. He was seriously a joker sometimes. However I understood that he was about to make me feel comfortable as I was feeling guilty for taking them with me. He had the quality of making me smile even in worst situations. Maybe that is the reason for me to make him my best friend instead of a girl. We had to walk towards the mountain. The witch, Morgan's power source was her magical stick. According to the book there is a crystal on the top of the stick. We had to destroy the stick to go back home.
On our way we had to find something to eat as we all were suffering from hunger. On our way we found a tree that was full of its fruits. They were apples. We picked three of them and ate them while sitting under the tree. We didn't forget to pick some more to eat on our way to the mountain of hope. I was thinking about the mountains. The things which were happening were a bit strange to me. How could this happen? I was a big fan of adventure stories and magical stories and also sometimes I believed that magical powers really exist on earth. But this occasion I was not ready to believe. I was experiencing magical powers for real! A magical power took me and my friends to another world! Can a book do such a thing? Suddenly I came back to the real world from my thinking. He was trying to tell me something but I could not hear what he was trying to tell me because I was in a deep thinking. He wanted to show me a picture on the book.
It was a picture of Morgan. She was a gorgeous lady who was wearing a beautiful frock holding her magical stick which had a crystal on the top of it. There was something written on the bottom of that page. Max started reading it,
You cannot escape from this mission. I'm waiting on top of the MOUNTAIN OF HOPE to welcome you. You will be tested in various ways on your way to the mountain. You must read the whole book while walking towards me unless you will be rewarded with pain.
"What?" Lisa and I asked from Max. We all were puzzled after reading it. "What are these things" I asked from Max and Lisa. They had no idea about it. As we had no time to waste we continued walking. On our way I noticed that Max's face gave the expression of trouble. I wanted to ask why and I did. He was still thinking about Morgan and the Mountain of Hope. "What are the tests?" he wanted to know about the tests that the witch wanted to do. Why does she need to test us? What was the use? And the main problem I had was "Will the witch kill any of us?" I did not want to lose myself or to hurt Max or Lisa.
It was a long way when we decided to rest for a while. It was a huge tree which we had chosen to sit under. It was quiet interesting to sit for a while and to walk again. Though we all were tired the amusement made us forget the tiredness. It was the evening in that world. Birds were going back to their houses. But I felt that something was wrong because it did not seemed to be normal as the birds were in a hurry as if someone is going to kill them. "Max this is not normal, something is wrong here. We have to hurry and find a place for us to spend the night" I said to Max. I understood that Max knew about the danger which was about to cover the night.
