Damon’s POV
Wolves can be too d*mned stubborn! I backhand one of the prisoners and enter the house that Hannah went into. When we get inside, she isn’t there, nor is the new alpha boy, much to Blaine’s displeasure.
I can care less about him, but I want Hannah. I know most of Grant’s story about him and Dani, but to know that they were actually fated is something I don’t understand. I feel something for Hannah, something that I shouldn’t feel.
If she’s fated to this alpha, then how can I be feeling this way for her? Is it the vampire blood in her that draws me to her? I’ll never get the chance to find out if these wolves don’t start talking.
I click my tongue. Unlike them, I don’t have a nose for picking scents. Without a GPS, I’m not the best tracker.
“I’d rather die,” the wolf repeats again. I hiss at him, turing away before I do just that.
