Hannah’s pov
The next morning, I showed up to work, ready to continue this new chapter in my life.
Of course, when I took this job, I hadn’t realized that I was going to be Damon’s personal assistant. I thought I was going to be at the front desk, not sitting facing his office. Thankfully, he’s not in yet, but how will I get any work done if every time I look up, I see his beautiful face?
In his absence, he has left a list of things he wants me to do, and if I have any questions to ask the office manager, Leon. He’s a nice guy, but I can tell he is a bit uneasy around me for some reason. Since Damon is a vampire, he probably surrounds himself with them as well, but then again, I’m a wolf. His weary looks make me hope he’s not human, though.
Humans are food for Vampires and playthings to witches. We wolves hardly care about them, but we love to watch them run and scream, but no deaths so far, so really, what’s the harm in reminding them of boundaries?
