Hannah's pov
Returning to work after the crazy few days I had, has been awkward, to say the least. I hated leaving my father, and yet felt completely confident that Luke could keep watch over him.
I keep replaying the day we had, and each time I find something else to not like about him. I don't want to admit that he's different, but I would be foolish to believe otherwise.
Even with his treatment of my father that day or how once we got to the restaurant, we actually talked about my conspiracy theories about why he was attacked. I thought he was saying that to get me to go out with him.
The way he listened and questioned anything that didn't make sense made me feel seen, and in a way, I've never been when pack issues were involved.
Of course, I can't say the same for Damon and work, though. I can't explain it, but he seems to be avoiding me, or maybe I'm avoiding him. I don't really know.
