Chapter 31 - Chapter 32

"No, my former brother as rash, greedy, and stupid as he is, isn't strategically retarded, his former achievements in the Trir'aith Conquests should speak for themselves" Aleister denied the given strategy to board the ships "Coordinate with the Wimvana to eject devourers on these two ships, but make sure it's just to puncture the hull and to not destroy".

"Of course, your majesty," one of the bridge officers said before connecting to the Wimvana to prepare the Devourers.

"Commander Ales and Wiqua began final prep for breaching their ship, and I want Braeden alive at any cost if he dares to commit suicide then try your best to revive him if you can't then it's only him that will suffer in the depths of hell for such cowardice," Aleister said while looking at the final scan of their ship showing that like Aleister said most of the people are scattered looking straight at the four entrances into the ship, meaning that if they want a quick and clean entry into the ship with minimal effort then breaching through the hull is the only way to do it.

In the large hangers bored into the left of the ship tens of thousands of heavily armed soldiers all in white armor with golden stars dotted around the crown of their head above the black glassed visor, with a sword on their waist and a rifle in their hand they stood in neat lines facing out into space.

"Prepare to board" A man walking down the line yelled before placing a helmet identical to the soldiers on his head.

On the opposite side 40,000 soldiers dawning black armor with a red cape and a similarly shaped helmet to the saint legions on the other side, their face was obscured by the black glass only see-through with friendly helmet visors. While the saint legions had golden stars dotted around their crown, the prime legion had a golden one on their shoulder not covered by the cape, even though the one was their symbol they either didn't put much care into it or that was the way it was created but from multiple areas, the paint dripped down creating an imperfect one.

"Prepare to jump" a man at the front yelled behind him before like commander Ales, he placed the helmet on his head.

After mere seconds blurry objects flew beyond the ends of the hanger shields that kept air in while allowing for anything else to enter, this happened on both sides and multiple holes soon open into the tops of the cruisers.

Seeing the blurs all 80,000 soldiers began to run to the shields, unlike what one would believe they didn't fall into space, instead their boots magnetized to the side of the ship– for several seconds they ran down The Birkenhead's hanger exterior walls until a curve allowed them to quickly demagnetized and jump into space straight at the cruisers, due to the immense care the shield arrays on the two cruisers had still held strong creating a bubble around the cruisers that would vaporize any soldiers too stupid to touch it, so many ship guns fired at the shield and then the flat areas where it was projected completely denying any possibility of shielding.

Landing on the ships the soldiers quickly recorganized and remagnitized their boots allowing for movement on the ship, interestingly the guns on the ship that were completely fine didn't fire at The Birkenhead which didn't matter as they were being systematically destroyed by low-powered shots from the Birkenhead or from a rocket placed square on the seam between the platform and the gun.

Walking up to the large hole a few rebel Sanguisugion fighters in airtight armor like the legionnaires could be seen taking point in a choke point, yet in the face of hundreds if not thousands of rifles all resistance failed. Once the legion entered the ship they began to systematically enter every room and hall shooting everyone they see with a non-lethal stunning shot, as death would be too good for these rebels.

On the opposite ship, a similar sight could be seen with the only difference being the legions boarding the ship, any resistance was met with stunning rounds, and any sealed doors were sliced apart– with the stunning rounds the enemy side had no deaths while in some key choke points dozens of legionnaires are traded for the choke point, yet no legionnaire complained or questioned their orders, they were to find the traitor and not kill him so that is what they would do, no doubt such loyalty could only be found behind the walls of brainwashing and extreme propaganda.

Unlike the quick space battle that took a mere 20 minutes, the boarding parties took over three hours to finally reach the important reactors, bridge, and most importantly the Captain's quarters.

"Your majesty, he was found but is being held hostage and is apparently only going to be released on the promise that they will go free" A man in an officers outfit entered the king's quarters, while Aleister was simply watching the systematic take over of the cruisers like a movie.

"If that's what they want then that's what they get, after Braeden is in our hands stuff them in an escape pod with one day's food no water, and send them into the star" Aleister replied cruelly before jumping up to go to the hanger "Also send some sedative to the hanger bay, enough to knock out a man for a week".

"It shall be done, your majesty" He bowed before leaving in the opposite direction to the king. Walking the halls and descending the elevators on the ship Aleister felt nothing about what he was about to condemn his brother to, he had already gotten past that.

Making his way into the hanger bay surrounded by royal guardsmen Aleister instantly noticed a blob of Saint Legionnaires surrounding one man, they quickly made way for Aleister who could now see his former brother.

"So Braeden, we met again" Aleister mocked "It was quite the mess you left me back in Shádsals, ooh I bet you think that was hilarious, maybe you thought that you would just be imprisoned again but not this time".

"You are going to spend the next 700ish years in complete immobile darkness, your muscles will rot, your bones will thin out, your tendons won't exist when you die" Aleister listed "You are a greedy man, so I think it will be fitting for molten gold to be poured in your ears, encased around your eyes, tongue well you won't be needing that nor your teeth or that" Aleister finished while looking down.

"Well until that day you won't be moving much, call it a free trial if you wish" Aleister added before slapping the man on the cheek lightly making his neck and forehead veins bulge in anger, after Aleister was done mocking the traitor he motioned for a nurse to come over and sedate the pinned down prisoner.
