As for the expansion of the royal guard, it was already being completed. With the expansion of Pyroella not only will there be more soldiers to throw into battle but also more royal guardsmen, something Pyroella's Director is very proud of, after all, how could you not be proud of leading the place that trains the guards of the king.
The Royal intelligence was also already being expanded except it was being secretly expanded and was directly from Aleister's personal money, something that only the Royal Chamberlain could see.
After another couple of minutes of internal thinking, Aleister felt the familiar jerk that told everyone that they were out of the FTL jump. Walking into the cockpit room, Aleister instantly saw two giant Orpheus class Carriers with only a few holes in them symbolizing how fast the shipyard could pump out giant ships.
While the Two Orpheus class carriers were being worked on in the orbital shipyards, he noticed 5 destroyers and 12 cruisers all waiting in individual bays. The Individual Wimvana Class destroyer was a wedge shape but was wider than longer, creating an acute isosceles triangle.
On the Wimvana were two holes with ten smaller holes, these were ejection pads for an experimental ground weapon that he called Devourers that would autonomously move and tear through enemy tanks and fortifications. With a well-timed volley taking down the shields these autonomous vehicles would be free to completely annihilate any ship unlucky enough to get close.
Along with the two horizontal holes, there were 10 rail guns each with a length of 10 meters. Along with the 30 experimental weapons, there were 30 flak guns for anti-starfighter screening, six dual Etherian batteries so the destroyer can fight with bigger ships, and 15 concussion missile pads each with six missile launchers who themselves had 40 missiles in a belt mechanism. With a length of .6 kilometers and a width of 1.4 kilometers, all of the guns placed on the ship including the railguns and missile launchers could fire at one target in front of them, of course, this meant that if a ship could get behind it then it's game over but with a supporting fleet this weakness should be covered.
The other Destroyer, the Sidenvis I, was the opposite of the Wimvana, which was a platform to test the utility of new weapons. The Sidenvis had 8 dual octuple Etherian Energy cannons, 40 Etherian Energy cannons each being a dual quad battery, 38 Heavy Ion cannons, 70 small flak guns, and 20 concussion missile pads. To accommodate the massive beating such a ship would sustain there were over 20 redundant shield arrays with very thick armor plating. With so many energy-based weapons and defenses two massive reactors the size of the main on the Orpheus were required, and to keep them safe they were placed inside of the core.
Unlike the Orpheus and Wimvana class ships, the Sidenvis was ovoid allowing for multidirectional fire from one of its many guns, even though the ship was ovoid in shape 25% of the armaments were facing forward meaning it still could play a role in combat that the wedge shape was excellent at, that's not even considering that it could just maneuver to perform broadsides at long range. At a length of 1.3 kilometers, a width of .8 kilometers, and a height of .6 kilometers it was more massive than the Orpheus class even if it was only a destroyer.
Finally the Harka'leeko Class cruiser, this cruiser was a mix of the two destroyers with two railguns, two holes with four launching pads for devourers, 30 dual Quad Etherian class energy cannon batteries, 20 flak batteries, and 16 Concussion missile pads. Half of the energy cannons were on the spine of the ship in a stairstep superstructure allowing for all fifteen cannons to shoot forward and on each side, the other half were on the bottom of the ship in a diagonal line on the edge of the ship, seven on each side. The concussion missile pads were on the left and right of the smaller superstructure, while the bridge was in the middle of the ship next to the reactor.
Interestingly even though all of the ships other than the Orpheus class carriers were wholly done, yet Aleister had gotten a report of an electric wiring malfunction that didn't properly regulate the power allowing for frequent surges of power or no power at all. Due to this mistake, all of the ships were recalled and are being repaired, with them being finished in two days, one day after the carriers are done.
Flying past the orbital shipyard the shuttle and the fighters made their way to the planet's biggest complex of military buildings with almost all of the ground equipment such as tanks and walkers being made there, it was also the home of the Shipyard director, and the twelve directors that oversaw the planetside production, and the royal commissar who made sure the other thirteen directors and the planet itself was firmly aligned with the royal family.
Flying into a building the shuttle landed on an indoor landing pad while the fighters simply doubled back and began to fly around the general area. On the side of the building waited seven people, four directors from the planetside military complexes, Director Aldon, the naval architect Draven, and finally the head army architect.
