I looked out the car window as he was heading to the city. The more brighter side of the city. This part of the city I've never been and I felt excitement. Curiosity even. The bright lights and jumbled music made a light smile emerge. This place sounds awesome. There were Christmas decorations up already and it was really cool. Their plaza had a giant tree in the middle. Decorations all around it. It looks beautiful. There was a photographer there as people were taking pictures. The photographer was taking pictures of a family. Some took selfies.
I looked at Luke who had a loving smile on his face. I smiled widely as he was just going around. Maybe looking for a parking spot. I looked back and noticed a small play area. He finally parks the vehicle and as he turned it off I opened the door. I felt completely excited as I saw the children start to play around. Christmas music started playing at a distance to my left side. On the right an up beat music from the bar. A restaurant had a different Christmas song playing. It was all distant but here in the plaza there was Jingle Bells song but the instrumental song.
I felt completely excited. I felt someone's hand wrap around my hand as I also felt the electrifying sensation. It felt so good. I looked at him with a big smile. I smiled gently and I just looked around feeling really happy. The song was on repeat so on instinct I started listening to the song in my head as we started to walk around.

I hear a chuckle to my side as I looked forward to little kids as they were yelling and tapping on their phones. I felt completely confused and I just looked at Luke. I never had the chance to actually play certain games. Will he be annoyed if we did something different? Maybe I shouldn't ask about it. Maybe later. I smiled gently and just looked at the lights above us. They were dangling a little to simulate fallen snow. It was really beautiful. We walked straight to the big bright tree as the cameraman was printing out the pictures to someone else. I felt completely curious and so I walked ahead as Luke was answering a message on his phone.
I looked at the giant tree and I just smiled. It looks so beautiful.
"Dashing through the snow... In a one-horse open sleigh...O'er the fields we go... Laughing all the way..." I sing in a whisper as I hear the beginning of the song again
"You're voice is very beautiful my love..." I hear Luke whisper near me
I looked at him and I asked awkward "You heard me?"
He does a light tap near his ear and says "Sensitive hearing... I love how you sing I would love to hear it more..."
I felt my face heat up and I say "One day..."
"Well I know a place where they have karaoke... It's private if you wish" Lukas says with a gentle smile
"It must be expensive... No... I don't want you to spend so much" I tell him as I sway a little
"Oh don't worry my love... I finally found you and I will completely spoil you" he tells me as he pulls me against him
"Excuse me... Would you like for a photoshoot?" I looked behind me to the man asking
Luke turns to look at the man and the man looks so small beside Luke but Luke spoke showing a bit of dominance "I don't care the price... You better take a lot of pictures and I want them all... I don't care if they are blurry or random... I want them all"
I giggled and I touch his chest "Now who is spoiled?"
He looks at me with a big smile and speaks gently "I want everything to be a memory... I want to keep it all..."
I smiled gently and I just smiled at his possessive side "Alright... I will let you do this..."
I hear the gentle click and it made me giggle making Luke smile. The man was giving us pose ideas for the pictures and different parts of the tree. We didn't care the children playing were there. Luke was having fun holding me and giving me kisses. I kept giggling and smiling. I feel like this man's poor memory card will act up with the many pictures. Beside the three there was this giant fountain. It was turned on and it had beautiful light colors. They added underwater lights to the fountain. The post lights were turned off so the lights of the decorations can maintain the plaza brightened up.
I felt completely happy and just kept with so many pictures. I looked at the fountain as it turned blue and it looked very pretty. It made me smile. Luke wasn't holding me anymore and I looked to him. He had gotten on one knee and I felt completely confused. I tilt my head to him. What is he doing?
"I know we haven't been together for so long but... I want you to have this... A promise ring... I will promise to love you and keep you safe and this will signify the seriousness in my heart!" he tells me
It made me cry a little and I smiled widely and I asked "You sure you want me to be your girlfriend?"
"I want you to be my future wife..." his words made my heart brighten up even more
"Yes..." I say as I hold him
He stands up and spins me around excited. I hear the aww's from the little bit of people around us. It made me blush lightly and he places me down. I felt completely excited for our future. Would everything be calmed down? Will the hunters be done? Will the hunters leave us alone? They have been adamant into capturing me. Why do they want me? I didn't do anything. I just don't want anything from them. I want to stay with Lukas. Human life is cruel and I want to be completely happy now. I want nothing more than to be happy with the person that actually makes me happy.
He places the ring in my finger and I just stared at it with such joy. It made me feel so happy. I looked at him with a big smile and he kisses me. I felt really happy and I wrapped my arms around his neck as we kissed. We hear clapping around us and it made me smile in our kiss. He separates from the kiss and smiles at me lovingly.
"We should go back to our date... I have so much planned out..." he tells me with a light smile
It made me feel excited and curious so I say "Alright... Next time I wanna return and just see if we can feed the squirrels"
I noticed earlier the signs of feeding the squirrels. I think someone sells specific food for the squirrel. I wanna feed them. He nods agreeing with me and I just stood straight. The people started chatting between themselves and so I just smiled gently. The photographer had a big smile in his face. We went back to posing as Luke wanted a few more pictures. The man looked pretty excited about it and so we just allowed him to take a few more. Luke wanted a few of the pictures to be just about me. Standing. Sitting. Facing the tree. Smiling. Distracted. I giggled a few times.
Once the photoshoot was done Luke and the man went back to his little table for him to print it out. I felt a gentle tug on my dress and I looked down. It was a little girl. She was crying. I kneeled a bit to face her and she looks at me with big eyes.
"Where your parents?" I asked her as she is too young to be alone
"I-I... L-Lo-Lost them" she says between tears
I picked her up and I say "I'll help you find them..."
She nods as she wipes her tears so I started walking towards the middle. Near the fountain. I looked side to side. There was a crowd of people by the corner near the play area for children. Maybe someone knows who's her parent. But the closer I got the more I heard their laughing and cheering. I tilt my head and noticed little kids acting. Their parents watching their act as they were just playing. I tried talking to them but they just ignored me. Typical parent. I tried again and they told me to leave them alone. I sighed out and I looked to the side as I noticed a male looking around in panic.
I walked to him and I say "Excuse me..."
"PAPA!" the little girl yelled near my ear
Damn. The man looks up and he yells out to the female who was at a distance "Oh my god thank you so much... Where was she?"
He grabs her as she hugs him tightly "She was near the tree..."
"Oh thank you so much... I just went to get something to drink for my wife and her and she must have slipped to go see the tree on her own... She must have gotten spooked when the lights dimmed out" the man explains gently as he jumps a little
"Oh Abigail don't scare mommy like that" the woman spoke as she had gotten close
"It's alright... I was happy to help" I say with a gentle smile
"There you are my love..." I hear Luke behind me as he places his hand on my shoulder
"Yeah... Just helping the little girl find her parents" I say with a smile
"Papa... Big wolf..." I hear the little girl say
"Big wolf?" I asked confused as I looked around
I noticed someone walking a malamute and he looks like a big fluffy wolf as it is a bit dark so the mom spoke "Oh the dog..."
I looked at the parents as they stared at Luke and Luke stared at them "I am happy you helped them love... We should go... We'll be late for our reservation"
"Ok love... Let's go..." I say with a smile
I waved goodbye to them and just followed Luke. He had two envelopes in his other hand and I smiled widely. The pictures. I should go thank him. But I felt Luke hold me tightly to him. I looked at him and he looked really happy. He looks at me with a big smile and a sparkle in his eyes. It made me really happy.
This will be the happiest moment together.
