Sophia sat in the room, still tied up and blindfolded, when she suddenly heard the door burst open. She felt someone grab her roughly by the arm, dragging her to her feet. "What the hell is going on?" she cried out, but the man said nothing, simply pulling her out of the room and down a long hallway.
Finally, they stopped and the blindfold was removed. Sophia blinked as her eyes adjusted to the light, taking in her new surroundings. She was in a luxurious bedroom, with a large four-poster bed and a balcony overlooking a picturesque garden.
But her confusion and fear quickly turned to anger as a man walked in, carrying bags filled with clothes. He tossed them on the bed, "Pick something and change," he barked at Sophia.
Sophia glared at the man, her voice shaking with anger and fear, "Why are you doing this? What do you want from me?"
The man just sneered at her, "You'll find out soon enough. Now, change your clothes. and get dressed"
Sophia looked down at the clothes and sneered, "I am not changing into anything you picked out for me. I want my own clothes back."
The man just rolled his eyes and walked out of the room, leaving Sophia alone to fend for herself. She was left wondering what their true intentions were, and how she was going to escape. She sat on the bed and wept, feeling hopeless and trapped.
*************
Alexander sat at his desk, staring blankly at the computer screen in front of him. His mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Sophia, the daughter of his business rival Charles. He had planned her kidnapping with precision, but now that she was in his custody, he found himself struggling to shake off the feelings of guilt that were creeping in.
Just then, his phone rang. It was one of his boys calling to report that Sophia was refusing to cooperate with them. Alexander's jaw clenched in frustration as he listened to the report. He knew he had to handle this situation himself.
"I'll be there shortly," Alexander said, hanging up the phone. He quickly gathered his things and headed out of the office, making his way to the safe house where Sophia was being held.
He arrived at the safe house and made his way to Sophia's room. He knocked on the door and, after a moment, it opened. Sophia stood there, her eyes filled with anger and fear.
"What the hell do you want?" Sophia spat, her voice filled with venom.
Alexander took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves. "I know you're scared and angry, Sophia," he said, his voice calm and measured. "But I want you to know that I don't have plans of keeping you here forever I did this because I believe that's the only way your father would grant me audience."
Sophia's expression softened slightly, but she still eyed him warily. "Why should I believe you? You're a kidnapper, for God's sake."
Alexander sighed. "I know what I've done is wrong, Sophia. But I need you to cooperate with me. I just want to make things right. And I promise you, I will do everything in my power to keep you safe and comfortable while you're here."
Sophia hesitated for a moment before nodding slowly. "Fine," she said, her voice tight. "But I want you to know that I hate you for what you've done to me and my family."
Alexander couldn't blame Sophia for feeling that way. He knew he had a lot of work to do to earn her trust and forgiveness. But he was determined to do whatever it takes to make things right between them.
Alexander took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "I know you are and I can understand why, I just wanted to check on you, make sure you're okay," he said, trying to sound sincere.
Sophia's eyes narrowed. "You expect me to believe that? You kidnapped me, dragged me to this hellhole, and now you want me to believe that you're just checking on me? I don't think so."
Alexander took a step forward, trying to get closer to her. "Sophy, I have an unfinished business with your father and as soon as we grants me audience then I would let you go."
Sophia's expression softened slightly, and she looked at him with a mixture of curiosity and skepticism. "What do you mean earlier when you said my father caused your downfall? I don't understand."
Alexander took a deep breath, trying to still stay calm. "You father would be here soon, I believe he should be the one to answer that question."
Sophia looked at him, her expression a mixture of anger and confusion. "So, you're using me as leverage? You're holding me hostage so that you can get to my father?"
Alexander's expression softened, and he reached out to touch her arm. "I know it sounds terrible, but it's the only way. I promise you, Sophia, I'll let you go as soon as your father agrees to my demands. And I promise you, I'll make sure you're safe and comfortable while you're here."
Sophia looked at him, her expression still hard. "Well I guess I don't really have a choice, do I? I'm trapped here, at your mercy." Alexander could see the anger and frustration in her eyes, but he also saw the fear. He knew he had to tread carefully with her.
"Sophia, I understand that you're angry and scared right now. But I assure you, I have no intention of hurting you. I only want to make sure that you're comfortable while you're here."
"Comfortable? You kidnap me and then expect me to be comfortable? I don't think so," Sophia sneered.
Alexander let out a sigh. He never knew this was going to be harder than he thought. "Sophia, I know you don't understand why I've brought you here, but I promise you, I don't want to see you hurt in any way."
Sophia looked at him skeptically. "So you're using me as leverage against my father? That's just sick."
"It's not like that," Alexander insisted. "I just need to make sure that your father knows that I'm serious. And once he's paid for what he's done, you'll be free to go."
Sophia shook her head in disbelief. "I don't know what to believe. All I know is that I want to go home."
"I understand that, Sophia," Alexander said softly. "But for now, you need to stay here. It's for your own safety."
