A minister in a bright red tunic pulled the smiling girl kneeling beside him and pulled her close. She giggled as he pinched her cheeks and placed her head on his shoulder.
The Minister a man in his fifties pulled the girl closer and pecked her on the cheek. He smiled as the girl acted shyly and turned around to watch the sword dance performance.
One of his guests, an official dress in a dark green official uniform picked up a cup of wine and tipped it over his mouth. The younger official let out heated air and poured himself a fresh cup of wine.
"This mess involving the first Prince is becoming a mess", the man slurred right before taking another cup of wine, "there are rumours that it might involve some more officials".
The Minister nodded, "Official Gu seems to be well informed, that ingrate Captain Wu acts dumb whenever I ask him about the investigation. What use is being his uncle".
