As Xu Yue and Ming Yun left the cave, Gao Ying used the Lesser Heaven Scrying technique to take a look at his luck.
Seeing that his luck had become ten percent smaller, Gao Ying tried to look at something else.
"Roar!" Gao Ying felt his headache as he heard the roar of a giant dragon, but thankfully he had managed to get a look at Xu Yue's luck, a giant Golden Dragon with a hint of purple on its scales.
After this, Gao Ying exited the cave and scurried in the direction opposite of Xu Yue.
At the same time,
As Xu Yue and Ming Yun were walking in a certain direction, Xu Yue suddenly stopped, feeling someone trying to peep at her. Anger appeared on Xu Yue's face. A terrifying feeling emanated from Xu Yue, so much so that even Ming Yun started lightly shaking.
Seeing her senior sister angry made Ming Yun feel a sense of dread, but as time passed, something else emerged from her, as she slowly approached Xu Yue.
She felt a small amount of pain in her forehead.
"Don't be naughty," said Xu Yue as she used her finger to poke Ming Yun on the forehead.
A smile appeared on Xu Yue's face as she looked at the little girl. If anyone else was around her at this moment, they would be terrified of her.
This was the first time she had seen someone excited about it.
A moment later,
Xu Yue immediately stopped. For the first time in her life, she felt her intuition warn her of danger.
Xu Yue embraced Ming Yun as she took out the countless defensive treasures in her spatial bag, activating all of them instantly.
"What? " asked Ming Yun, she shut up when she saw the serious Xu Yue.
A mere moment later, Xu Yue felt the karmic mark on one of her opponents disappear, as if he had been replaced.
As she tried to use her token to exit the world, Xu Yue discovered that the token didn't work.
A blank look appeared in Zhang Wencheng's eyes. A moment later, light filled them once again, the new Zhang Wencheng took out a talisman from a corner of his spatial bag. It was unknown how the talisman had gotten past the tournament formations.
As he activated the talisman, Zhang Wencheng dried up. He had used everything he had, his body, his soul, everything to activate it.
A moment later, a terifying wave of power erupted from the talisman.
All of the treasures she had prepared were destroyed in a mere moment as a near infinite wave of power traveled squarely towards Xu Yue.
In a trillionth of a second, that attack was near Xu Yue. At that moment, several marks appeared on Xu Yue's skin, creating several barriers around her.
The robe that Xu Yue had gotten from the Trial Pagoda also shone brightly as another barrier was created around her.
At that moment,
Xu Hui was flying through the void towards the tournament world at an extremely high speed.
As he approached it, he received a message from someone and stopped.
"An immortal talisman," thought Xu Hui and frowned.
All these barriers around Xu Yue only managed to slow the attack for a moment, just as it was about to reach her.
A terrifying aura then began to emanate from the sword at Xu Yue's waist. A barrier surrounding both her and Ming Yun was created. This time, the barrier managed to resist the attack for a longer period of time.
Even without someone to harness its power, the sword managed to help Xu Yue defend against the immortal rank talisman for a period of time.
As time passed, the barrier began to shine less and less brightly. Just as it was about to go out, a figure appeared and took Xu Yue with him.
A terrifying look still appeared on Xu Ming's face as he fed a healing pill to Xu Yue. He then appeared next to Xu Hui, alongside Xu Xue and Ming Yun.
"Take care of them for a while," said Xu Ming, Xu Hui did not dare speak. He could feel the uncontrollable anger his father held in.
A moment later,
Xu Ming appeared in the void where a world used to exist.
The Immortal Tier Talisman had completely annihilated the entire world, alongside every single speck of dust and every living being, no matter how strong or weak.
As he stood there, a large clock appeared next to him.
Xu Ming was thankful that he had requested the Chaos Clock from the sect. He had originally planned to use it to heal Xu Yue in case anything happened.
As Xu Ming started using the Chaos Clock, the very laws of reality seemed to be in chaos. Time and Space seemed to twist and mend, not following their original path.
Zhang Wencheng found himself face to-face with Xu Ming.
"Didn't I die?" thought Zhang Wencheng.
A moment later, Zhang Wencheng recognized Xu Ming. He then saw the clock behind him.
As he realised who he was next to, despair filled his eyes. He then tried to detonate his very soul, but it was to no avail. He discovered that even he, as a former Dao Saint, could not control his very own soul in front of Xu Ming.
The saints that were still around wondered at the sheer power of both Xu Ming and The Chaos Clock.
Originally, Zhang Wencheng truly was dead, he had used his own power to activate an Immortal talisman. To do so, he had to use his very soul as fuel, this left him half dead. The effects of the talisman then completely destroyed him in both body and soul.
Because of this, reviving him was only possible because of the Chaos Clock, which could bend the laws of the lower dimension to their very limits, bringing Zhang Wencheng back to life through the Dao of Time.
Only through the combination of a False-Immortal and an Immortal artifact can the very laws of reality be broken without the help of a True Immortal.
