In the last episode: The seven grandmaster that created the Heavenly Demon Sect drinks wine together for the last time and bid farewell to eachother.

"Hey don't cry and tell me what was just happened to me"

From then on every was going normal but a week before Kuo Fang's birthday his grandpa become seriously ill he was unable to get up from the bed and as the Kuo Fang's birthday come nearer his health started to broke down and on the night before Kuo Fang's birthday he came to see his grandpa. His grandpa has lost more than half of his weight and only bone and vein can be seen on his body.
"Grandpa how are you now?"

with out wasting any time sit and calm himself then let his Qi to flow through his body and then he use a pill that will generate some Demonic Qi and then let devour all his Qi.
After ten minutes half of Qi has been devoured and after twenty five minutes most of the Qi has been devoured.

Kuo Fang spit out some blood before of the pain he is getting from devouring his Qi. To him it was feeling like he was getting thrashed by a big hammer.

he used the Asura body forming technique to increase his pain tolerance and Double minded blade technique's angry mindset to make the Demonic Qi violent and started to force devour the Qi and Demonic Qi started to devour it in an unimaginable rate.
When he completed devour the Qi his whole body was giving a very deadly aura. The whole forest can become silent after feeling his deadly aura.

He learnt that when the martial soul is fully complete it will be covered by eight soul crystal and two soul rings and the number of soul crystal he have it will shows him his rank.
Since he has one soul crystal he is at the apprentice martial artist rank and every shard one move and it can absorb five souls of a beast.
if someone were to absorb the soul of a beast it will boost his attribute corresponding the type of beast he has killed and the amount of boost someone get is corresponding to the rank of the beast. The rank of a beast is divided in nine stages and those are-
